Taco Bell — Restaurant in Memphis

I will NEVER return to this location! My experience was so awful it almost made me never want to eat at ANY Taco Bell again. However, I had to realize there is always one bad apple in the bunch.

My order was messed up twice and the woman behind the counter got an attitude with me because how dare I be upset for something I paid for.... Let's move past that though because that happens at a lot of places.

There was a group of approximately 8 high school kids inside. They were being loud, obnoxious, and rowdy. I''m not talking about they were just sitting at their table being that way. They were up all over the restaurant. It was apparent they knew the woman behind the counter. They were in there the entire time my boyfriend and I were there. Any restaurant that wants customers to enjoy their experience would have long since asked them to leave because they were disturbing the peace.

As we go to walk outside the kids were finally leaving as well. One car full pulled out and threw something out of the car very close to hitting me. Then the next car full was parked next to our car. The kid pulled out so fast he came within inches of running over my foot and then for whatever reason he went forward again and almost hit the back of our car. You couldn't even fit a nickel between our car and his. Then of course he drove off. My boyfriend was yelling at the driver and so the woman from Taco Bell came out and asked what was going on. The car had already left, but my boyfriend told her what happened. Her response was, "Ok." Really?!? I know I had the dumbest look on my face because that's all you can say.

Point being, when you are at your JOB you have to be professional. Friends or not, when people come in rowdy you have to ask them to leave. That incident would not have happened had they long since been gone. What if they would have run over my foot? As a Taco Bell employee it is her duty to make sure the customers have a positive experience. She knew those kids and should have reported that incident.

It was the worst experience EVER‼ They did not get my order right. We spent nearly $25.00 and it was a horrible experience. The freeze machine was down. They were out of sweet tea. I wanted beef chalupa, but they gave me steak. My hard tacos were all broken up. I asked for an extra order of chips. She said she didn't hear me when I ordered them and refused to give me some eventhough i told her I would pay. Then after asking me 3 times what kind of sauce I wanted, I got home and there was not one sauce in the bag. Just horrible. I am so disappointed and spent nearly $25.00 for me and my family's food. I am so disappointed. Then the supervisor in charge, had an attitude with me and rolled her eyes. The beef in my nacho belle grande had a horrible after taste to it, like it was burnt. I asked for extra meat to the side in a cup and did not get it! There were only a few beans on my nacho belle grande. I mean it was like a tea spoon worth of beans on it. This experience was at the Taco Bell on Union close to Cleveland Street in Memphis, Tn. I was in there at about 4:45pm on January 3, 2020. I am sooooooooo disappointed. I want to call the district office on them, but I am just gonna chill and count it as a lost. So disappointed though☹☹☹☹☹ I still may call in on them because that was just horrible service...

Two days in a row they screwed up my order. Yesterday I ordered a $5 cravings deal and 2 mini chicken quesadillas. The food in the box tasted like it was cooked and wrapped hours before I ordered it, the crunchy taco was so soggy it was falling apart, obviously not made anytime near the order time. The 2 quesadillas were cold, the cheese wasn’t melted and the shells were turning soggy, looked like they were just thrown together and wrapped without warning or anything. I also ordered a large drink, the girl filled the cup barely half full and gave it to me.Today I ordered the same thing, except I asked for a nacho taco instead of the regular crunchy taco and they still screwed up. I got my order and the burrito in the box was cold, the crunchy taco was a regular crunchy taco that was so soggy it was falling apart and sticking to the paper just like the day before. The 2 quesadillas were cold , the cheese was cold and unmelted just like they just threw it on there and wrapped. The shells were moist and soggy as well. I usually enjoy coming to this location because it’s close to my work and I don’t have a lot of time to waste so I run here and grab lunch but the past few days has been extremely disappointing on their part.
