I am a native of this city and we'll known by many businesses because of my respectfulness, patronizing, and integrity. I refuse to spend my money where the costumer is not treated with the upmost courtesy, as well as service. I am in town for the holidays and this is a favorite spot of a friend of mine and I was invited to join her and a few of her family members. Upon arriving they were already seated and had ordered drinks. I myself do not drink but attempted to order a virgin daiquiri but the server failed to understand me due to the loud music and abruptly walked to the next table and never returned. Another server came to take what I suppose the food orders and I attempted to explained to her about the drink order mishap and she began to hunch her shoulders and shake her head for what reason I asked and she to just walked completely aways from the table. I then expressed to the party that I joined that I refuse to spend my money where I am not being given the service, respect, nor courtesy that I thought costumers of any business are warranted considering there was no disrespect nor rudeness from the costumer. I know that some people have bad days at work but that does not give them the right to treat the costumer according to the way that they feel but according to the way that they were trained and I refuse to believe that they received such horrible training. Today is Cinco de Mayo and they were busy but not that busy at 2 PM. We were seated immediately but waited 20 minutes before the Busboy brought us chips and salsa because he was bussing the table across from us. 5 minutes later my wife made eye contact with a waiter. He showed up 2 minutes later. We ordered our beer and meals right away. A couple minutes later the beer showed up and a couple minutes later my wife's taco salad arrived. 10 minutes later my burrito showed up. My wife was just about done with her lunch. The meals was acceptable. My meal did not have the beans and rice and the waiter charged me "Dinner" price for the lunch meal. He corrected the mistake on the tab. Here's the Hammer. Tito listed 10 people at the table....thereby automatically adding in the 18% tip AFTER THE TAXES HAD BEEN ADDED, BOOSTING HIS TIP ANOTHER $1! The final tab still had a line for "Tip!" This deceit is not acceptable for a reputable business. These mistakes were too coincidental. At 3 when we left I did not talk to a manager. I was so P.O'd and they were getting busier that we just left.....without an additional "Tip" DOUBLE CHECK...

I usually enjoy my experience here! But last night was a major disappointment. The fact that my the waiter got my order wrong and I was willing to allow them to correct it. However that wasn’t a option for them. I ordered a baked potato with only vegetables and cheese. They brought me rice,cheese and vegetables with burnt mushrooms and no bake potatoes. After informing my server he went and got the manager who preceded to telling me I had to pay for half of my meal, although I hadn’t touched anything. He stated due to the waste it will cause. Of course after talking a little sense into him. He saw my position all the while being dismissive. Viva Mexico Mexican Restaurant-Memphis please do better! The entertainment was great.
