I went inside. There was a delay getting somebody to the front counter to take orders. There was a [manager?] walking around several times saying somebody needed to take care of guests at the front counter. Eventually a lady stopped making sandwiches and came to the register.
I ordered the Baconator and she asked if I wanted the double or triple. I've never been asked that nor is it represented on the menu. The regular burger, however, "Dave's Classic" does have single, double, and triple listed on the menu.
Now for the combo question "What size do you want?". This is deceptive at most fast food restaurants. Once upon a time they asked if you wanted Biggie/King/Super size and that was removed after the documentary "Supe Size Me". Combos came by default with a Medium and you either got it or Up sized. Now the combos come with a Small by default which is the same as Medium used to be. They don't ask if you want to go bigger they just say "Do you want Medium or Large?" Sounds like choice, but no matter which of those you choose, it is a larger quantity of drink and fries than what a true Medium/Regular was and should be. The old Small no longer exists. The end result is that more people are deceptively led into getting Large and Super sizes, as well as spending more money. To make it more confusing, there is no longer a standard across fast food industry. Some do have a true Medium and they ask the combo-size question with different misleading verbiage. Today I had to stare down the question for the lady to repeat and include that Small is the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHorrible experience. Top five worst dining experiences in my life. It doesn't take much to keep me happy. Decent food and decent service are my key ingredients to a good experience.
I was the only customer in line for five minutes. No one greeted me. The cashier would wait to fill previous orders before she took mine. If she was just clearing the screen and they were slammed I'd understand. There were three orders before me. She waited as each individual item was placed on the serving area instead of taking my order.
By then another customer was also waiting. Again, no greeting. I placed my order and thought a baked potato and chili would be easy to get. I watched as my order was prepared and then as she proceeded to fill the order for the customer who came in after me.
If that were the only issue I might have let it go. I'm easy going. However, I have celiac disease. I'm extremely allergic to gluten. My quick lunch options are severely limited. I figured a baked potato and chili from Wendy's might be okay. But, no.
The baked potato was hard and rubbery. The chili beans were hard and I had a full 1\4 of an unchopped single patty on my potato.
Mya never gave me a receipt. I wouldn't know her name if I hadn't glanced at the receipt because she didn't have a name tag.
They could learn about how to greet customers and how to make chili properly by training for a few weeks at a nearby Waffle House.
I would recommend ANY other restraunt before this place. I'm willing to endure undergoing sickness from my celiac disease before...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI waited in the drive thru line for over 40 minutes. Iām sorry but that is not āfast-food.ā Once I finally reached the Kiosk, I was told to wait for another 3-5 minutes, only to discover that the workers had allowed another patron to skip the entire drive thru line. By allowing this, myself and 10 other patrons had to wait a substantial amount of time. Sitting idle in their parking lot for this amount of time poses risks for being victims of a violent crime in which patrons have every right to sue the company. When I asked the pick-up window employee how was the vehicle allowed to skip line, she responded she didnāt know that they skipped which is a fat lie. I am aware of all of the order screens inside each establishment and the ordering process. How did they not realize that they were being asked to fulfill an entire order at the window that had not been previously placed at the kiosk or via the mobile app. This establishment routinely takes a significant amount of time to operate their drive thru and thus needs new management, team members and corporate training. If not, this restaurant should not be considered a fast food restaurant. This is unacceptable Wendyās.This is supposed to be āfast foodā not āsnail/turtle/slothā food. Do better or just close this location because itās tainting the...
