I will say something that a very wise culinary master once said to me, and that over the years makes more and more sense: “There can be a few or a hundred items on the menu, but a customer only needs to try one of what they make, which should be enough to know if it’s a good place to eat, or not”. Which to me it meant basically, can they cook better than me, an specific dish I like and prefer to reach for the experts? Thousands of dollars later, great food that delighted, mediocre food that made the wallet sigh, and made me wish I skipped. Even the sodas had to have well calibrated mix of carbonation and flavor, water clean, freshly appealing. Door Dash is the tired/lazy/successful delivery operation, where you pay in full several fees including gratuity, for the dashers can never be blame for the food they deliver, and in our case they always have done a good job. Los Primos, a desire to try their Mexican Albóndigas Soup, at almost $9 a piece. Ordered 4, nothing more. Fast delivery later our family of four each sat down to eat this dish. Medium size, as far as I could see, four large meatballs with no specially good characteristics, broth watery lacking decent flavor, which is sad, for the broth is vital in this traditional delicious soup. No carrots worth seeing, or potatos for that matter. Cilantro small plastic containers, same as shredded onions, no limes. Tortillas, seemingly hardened by the passage of time. Either cook (s) do not have the knowledge how to prepare the type of cuisine they supposedly represent, or perhaps do not care too much what they plate, or even worse: get paid so underwhelming low that is no sweat of their brows, but apparently quality control had taken a hiatus that faithful day. Either ones, it sucked big lemons 🍋, no respect whatsoever, for the one item that was going to tell their story failed miserably. Oh well, it’s only money badly spent, right? Don’t think so,...
Read moreIf you are going to make customers wait +40 minutes for an order of burritos, close the drive through. If the food is going to take +40 minutes tell your customers that, don’t tell them 10-15 minutes. Ordered 6 burritos, drive through and paid and then waited 30 minutes until I finally decided to go inside and asked what had happened, the server and the cook were messing around like nothing is happening while customers are waiting. The girl said that the cook had made a mistake and that that was why the order is taking that long and try to give me an extra shrimp burrito that was made instead of who knows what. Maybe you need to hire someone more responsible who can inform the customers what’s going on with their food and just be honest, if you have a new cook tell them the food make take longer and don’t make them wait wondering. I will not be back and honestly hope you can improve your...
Read moreOverpriced disappointing food. My husband and I stopped here after an already disappointing experience at a restaurant down the street where we had waited 2 and a half hours for food that never came. So we said hey, let's splurge on some fast food maybe it will be worth the $13.50 they are charging... it was NOT nearly worth that much. I ordered the "monster" fries, they were small, barely any fries in there, they tasted like cheap freezer bought fries from a grocery store, and the cheese was thrown on top - unmelted and cold. So cold that it made the fries cold. My husband ordered a "monster" burrito, it was tiny and barely had any meat. He finished it while driving far before we made it home. So to sum this up, we paid $30 for cold fries and a dollar menu sized burrito. The guy who took our order was...
