Sweet Daze Donut & Boba — Restaurant in Menifee

Been a regular here since they opened two years ago. Literally here every other day before work. The product and taste is great but the workers are incompetent and don't get enough training. The turnover rate is astonishing you never run into the same girl twice except for KENNEDY who I am writing this review for. Was hoping she'd phase out like the rest but nope still here and is destroying my regular destination. First instance she dropped the stir stick on the ground, picked it up and proceeded to use it to make drinks, disgusting! Second time, after making one drink for another customer she proceeds to start cleaning the work area, goes to the back and gets a mop, literally ignores my drinks until the other girl comes out and ask where's my order. She's like oh I didn't realize there was another one. How?? You took my order! Third, which was today, another girl takes my order then proceeds to make the customer in front of mine order, KENNEDY comes out and helps out the rest of the line then makes orders in the opposite order. Last people to come in got out first. Meanwhile I'm still there waiting for my drink while she's already dished out others. KENNEDY doesn't know how to use the POS, screen/order or any of the stores systems. Or realistically, even to use common sense. This place is overpriced(by a lot) compared to the chain boba shop down the block but I always wanted to support the small business shop, plus it has donuts. But KENNEDY is...

UPDATE 2024: Boba drinks are 100% inconsistent, literally at this point will not come back for their drinks. I don't know what happened from when they first opened til now,(their drinks were amazing every time that first year) but literally have to dump the drink every time we give it another try.. Not worth it at all considering how expensive it is! Keeping it 2 starts because atleast their donut & breakfast sandwiches are good!

UPDATE: 6/27/22 WE Come here all the time because it was our favorite boba shop, but had to update my review- the taste consistency of their boba drinks are never the same anymore. One time they are great & the next time they suck ( like todays visit) the boba balls were hard, the brown sugar milk tea drink was gross & didn'thave brown sugar in it. The donuts & breakfast sandwiches were good though. But man, really wish they were consistent on the making of their drinks, they are not cheap. And used to be consistent taste before, read my BEFORE review. We will give this place a break for a while in hopes of better drinks in the future.

First initial review a few years ago *Their boba drinks are delicious & consistent. (Some places they taste different everytime & we hate that, not this place though)And we tried their breakfast sandwiches last time & ohh my I loved that they used a hot sausage on their breakfast sandwiches. Not too spicy, but man so delicious. Donuts are good too! Definitely our go to spot...

First time coming here since I've never been to a boba place in Menifee. I ordered a taro milk tea and raspberry tea which the lady told me the raspberry tea was good and sweet. They charge legit a whole $1 for just boba which is more than most boba places but I didn't let that bother me if the boba is good (it wasn't). I Asked if I can get light ice since I hate my milk teas getting water down and she told me they have CHARGE me for light ice, how embarrassing. They somehow gave me lemonade tea instead of my Taro with my raspberry tea so they replaced the lemonade tea with making my taro but as I was waiting I took a sip of the raspberry tea that ended being extremely bitter and terrible. I had to ask what happened to the sweetness for the raspberry tea which again she had to remake the raspberry drink the right way. Personally I don't do well with trying out new places and my bad luck succeeds once again, I hope the food is good but everytime I try to ask how the ham and cheese was she kept saying "you want"? Rather than giving me an answer. For the overpriced drinks with small sizes and alot of ice, I think people deserve to take their money elsewhere. Can careless...
