Menifee's best kept secret. Prices are better than supermarket and they do carry lots of specialty items and fresh produce. The hoisin sauce they sell is not only 100% authentic, but comes in a plastic squeeze bottle, so those on lower-sodium diets can express smaller amounts than possible with a conventional wide-open-type bottle!

Miso paste is excellent, hard to find anywhere else. I use it to make soup, even if a small amount to season steamed veggies.

Individually wrapped sponge cakes are perfect for those on a nutritional program. Always fresh and just the right amount of snack; perfect with coffee. However, beware of the Filipino pretzels, which are delish, but each small pretzel has 100 calories!

Produce is always very interesting, so be willing to try new things. Owners are good at answering questions. Bring your own bags to save on that extra expense.

Overall experience was okay. This market has many unique items you don’t usually find elsewhere. My biggest letdown was the customer service the last time I went. My first time visiting this store, there was a mother and her daughter working the register, and they were lovely and helpful. This last time an older gentleman was at the front, and before I could even engage in a conversation, I could see he was unhappy to talk to me. I asked him for information about an item, and he would give me attitude for no reason. I never insulted or said anything that would offend him. As I left the store with my friend, she turned to me and told me he was not happy to talk to me. Perhaps he was having a bad day, but I left that store confused about what I did to the guy because I was nothing but friendly.

I don’t plan on returning any time soon. I hope the manager can find someone else to work the front that’ll have more respect for...

Asian Mini Mart is right by my house and I find it very convenient to come here and purchase fresh foods and other groceries. I recently called 10/2020 and their owner helped me via phone and let me know she had the products I needed. I made my way over there the next day and a very nice gentlemen helped me choose produce for a green curry paste I was going to make. He told me how to use and cook lemongrass, helped me choose the the right chiles which were extremely fresh, and steered me toward some lovely little round eggplants! I ended up buying all these plus I purchased some beautiful Thai Basil! My curry came out fantastic!!!!!!!!!
