As someone who has worked in the service industry for over 10 years, my experience here was disappointing to say the least. I came to have lunch here with my co workers today and I most likely will not be coming back. To be fair, they did look very busy and very understaffed. Our server didn't come check on us one time outside of taking our drink and food orders then dropping off our food, that was it. It took forever to get our check, then after waiting forever again for someone to come pick it up my co worker took the check to the manager and asked to speak with her. The manager was rude and said she was busy right now so my co worker asked if she could talk to her when she was done and the manager told her to just call the corporate number lol.... and even said she can give her name she doesn't care.Yikes.
Like I said, I have worked in the service industry for years. I don't care how busy you are, you don't treat your customers like that and you especially don't talk to them like that as the manager. An apology would have went a long way. Our server was the one who said she was sorry for our experience after she brought us back our check. Even if you are busy and understaffed, you can simply acknowledge your tables by saying "im sorry its so busy give me a minute I will be right back to get that for you" ANYTHING. People remember the service and how you made them feel more than the actual food. The food was mediocre, but I would have been willing to come back if the service was even decent. If the manager doesn't like dealing with people or talking to anyone or simply can't handle a busy restaurant without keeping her composure maybe she is in the...
Read moreFirst day i came here everyone was super friendly. The server holly was super nice and she kept checking on me. Which i really liked. But today is different the server is treating me like i dont have money to be here. She didn't check on me at all. I tried to make eye contact but it didn't work. Its not even busy and she was ignoring me. Ive been cooking professionally for 13 years and this was bad service on her part the restaurant itself nothing to blame everybody was still friendly the same guy I saw the other day was very friendly which is really cool I had to get up and ask for another drink because she would refuse to come to my table for some weird reason that really bothers me when in a nice area and I'm not dressed the part but that doesn't matter I should still be treated the same way as everybody else in this place but I feel like she's treating me different because the way I'm dressed but that really bothers me. Other server consistently asked me if I needed anything else besides the beer but this server has not asked me one question she brought me the beer with no eye contact she did not say one word how rude is that maybe she shouldn't be working here because she has no customer service but besides that I really like this place everyone else is super friendly so I recommend it I don't know the name of server but maybe she...
Read moreI normally order directly through Amici's but my wife just had surgery and a friend gave us a grubhub gift card.
The usually good Amici's lasagna was microwaved in the togo container so much that the sauce was stuck to the container, and the pasta was so hard it was unchewable. When I called Amici, there was a gentleman who answered that he told me too bad, that if I wanted a refund to go through Grubhub and hung up on me. When I called back and asked for a manager, the same gentleman answered and told me I could not speak to a manager and he was the only one there. When I asked him his name he asked why would I give you my name. I explained that the food quality was on Amici's and he could look up that we order often directly through them. He didn't care.
The quality of the food is 100% on Amici's, and we are frequent customers both in person and through their personal delivery. I was applauded by the response of the employee/manager. I have never had that type of service.
I am flabbergasted.
The pizza was delightful, but they also forgot the ranch...
