Fairly flavorful food, great service tonight initially(!), but the patrons had to suffer through rambunctious dog barking and over 7 incidents that left the outdoor dining community stressed out. Management did nothing and finally after a customer complained directly to the dog owner, the couple with the two dogs moved, only to be confronted by another patron, who found the untrained dog presence to be too much. When you spend $350 on a wonderful meal for 5 guests, you don't want to have it end all stressed out because of an irresponsible patron who ruined it for everyone and the restaurant staff did nothing. We will take a break for a while from Roma. Misbehaving dogs are the result of misbehaving dog owners and restaurant management team who missed the opportunity to fix it for the other 30 + guests on the patio supporting their...

Just a lost oregon girl looking for a place to get a drink. Thanks to your open bar sign outside I stopped for a drink. Atmosphere was awesome. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners son who was literally the sweetest thing ever ❤️ I came right before yiu guys opened so I was actually able to have a conversation with him without him being super busy. He totally turned me onto a cina sugar shit which was so good. And a pomegranate martini. Which was what he suggested which was amazing 👏 you can tell this gentleman has a deep meaning to his families buisness and a great love for his father!!! I will 100% be back!! I had such a wonderful experience here i will be returning tomorrow for dinner! I also will definitely be speaking of your place back in oregon where I'm from! Give that kid a raise ♡ he...

So so excited to come to this restaurant because we thought Menlo Park would have a great Italian restaurant on Santa Cruz Avenue. Was not impressed. When we walk by around 8:30 Friday evening there was his ton of people in the restaurant. They only had one busboy one server one cook and one waitress. I ordered the fettuccine Angelino mio. My husband ordered the Pollo marsala. The fettuccine was very Bland. The Italian bacon had a good flavor. The Pollo marsala came with about 15 noodles and about two chicken thighs. The sauce was very watery but you could taste the marsala. You'll get better tasting food at Olive Garden then you will hear he went. Plus you get free salad. I got to say their bread with their garlic spread was absolutely delicious. We will not be going...

Food was pricy but low quality: everything basically tasted like can food, from the 4 tiny meatballs that cost $18 to the mashed potatoes that was not really expected to be served with chicken parm (menu did say chef’s veggie selection but, mashed potatoes, really?). My friend had a spot on comment: Chef Boyardee tastes better. Service was inattentive. We didn’t get the bread, realized it midway through our meal and asked for it, was thrown with some bread but no olive oil that was supposed to come with it. Overall a terrible value for the money and you’re doing yourself a disservice if you come here - there are dozens of better restaurants in the Bay Area.

We stopped here for lunch hoping for paella in their menu. Turns out it was in the summer menu. We ordered a calamari, great with the included fried green beans and fried artichoke. The arugula salad was nice, candied pecan and blue cheese with a balsamic dressing. We ordered a pork cutlets with demiglace, garlic mash potatoes and steamed veggies. The pork a tad dry and mash potatoes a little salty. We also ordered a carbonara and a porcini trufffle ravioli. Both were tasty but also on the salty side. Service was nice, we got bread and oil as well as waters when needed. The coffee is tasty even a decaf.

Was here for an early weekend brunch with family - we wandered around downtown MP, debated options and decided to try out Roma. We recently spent 10 days in Italy and had high expectations - and were not disappointed. The food was good, from the bread + balsamic to the carbonara and vongole to simple bolognaise, were all very well done. The kitchen took a little longer than expected, especially given how sparse the crowd was at that time, but was not unreasonable. Service was polite. Will return.
