Will never return, and this was our "go to" in town. Food has been pretty consistent quality. Better than McDonalds, not as good as Culver's - prices in line with that. No issue with the food other than a 50% chance something in the order is wrong each visit. Checking before driving away is a must.
My last straw was today (4/21/25) when my son under 10 asked an employee today at lunch where he could sit, she was extremely rude for not understanding what he was asking, then shouted to another employee to come take care of the problem because she "didn't have time for this". He has special needs and being social like that takes courage. My wife immediately drove to discuss this with the shift manager who just made a lot of excuses for the employee's poor behavior and put the blame on my son for asking a question "unrelated to the food while ordering". She even recommended that we call ahead in the future to let staff know ahead of time we would be bringing a special needs child that may be asking unrelated questions (not sure how asking where to sit down to eat at a restaurant is unrelated...) and then stated she would talk to all of her employees as they are having more of "them" coming in. "Them" was referencing more special needs kids coming in? At no point was there any sincere apology, accommodations, or ownership for the behavior.
I could go on but won't - I will just say an establishment that displays and then stands behind this kind of behavior is an establishment that will never see another penny from me again. This might sound trivial to some but standing by this kind of behavior...
Read moreI have never had any service worse than the service from this Dairy Queen. This is how the visit tonight went: A friend and I had come to Dairy Queen at about 8:45. My friend got an ice cream and we preceded to sit and have conversation until about 9:20. We most of the time are allowed to stay a little after close while they are cleaning because we are not a disturbance. However tonight one employee, named 'Shay' preceded at 9:29 to tell us we had to leave, although she still had her friends who weren't even customers stay at the counter. She got hasty with us and kept demanding we leave. The manager has never had a problem with us staying and this employee was very obviously singling my friend and I out. She then progressed on at 9:31(only two minutes later) to turn the lights off on us. As we sat in the dark for a couple of minutes hoping for the manager to address her employee nothing happened. We then got up and walked to the counter. I asked to see the manager and said employee refused to get the manager, so when the manager finally came out this employee continued to tell the manager to make us leave. However she seemed to think her friends were exempt from this. My friend and I were by no means being loud and disrespectful like this employee. I am very disappointed with the treatment of us as customers. How can a franchise like this let their employees be so negligent towards customers? The only answer to this is to have this employee reprimanded for her belligerent and...
Read moreVery poor customer service. The first couple of times I thought the young man in drive through was new but I came 2 weeks later and he was at the window again, and rude again. Today my family came back a 3rd time and the person who made my blizzard with chocolate not what I ordered, she ended up making a regular Oreo blizzard with a bad attitude and with very little oreos, we asked for more and was told NO! Unfortunately, I will not be giving them my business any more. Going out to eat is supposed to be enjoyable. The past 3 time leaving this establishment I left with a horrible experience. In a day when you have so many options you’d think businesses would strive for excellent customer service. Thankful that there are many other custard and ice cream places within a couple of miles. Management is definitely FAILING in hiring staff! Someone from management so go under cover through Culver’s driver through then goto Dairy Queens driver through WHAT A HUGE DIFFERENCE! Culver’s for the WIN! This entire staff has bad customer service. They need to understand customers should be happy leaving not upset or arguing about added more Oreos. These ladies today were absolutely horrible, bad attitudes and poor customer service! Also 2 of the young ladies were arguing with each other about “if I have something to say I’ll say it to your face” HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Save your money and go...
