Erbert and Gerbert's — Restaurant in Menomonie

First time giving this establishment a go and while expected (we asked around before trying them and were told that they weren’t very good) we were sadly disappointed. I had a Philly cheese and my hubs had the brisket Mac n cheese. The meat for my sandwich was absolutely flavorless (tasted more like boiled tuna, the bacon wasn’t pleasant and made the other meat even worse) and severely wet causing the bread to be so soggy it basically fell apart into mush. If you’re one that loves Philly cheese and that’s your go to, do not order one from here you’ll be very disappointed. My husbands sub, held up better and wasn’t horrible, he was able to eat it completely minus giving me a couple bites but we both agreed it still wasn’t worth the price paid. The cost of these subs are more than Subway and most other places you can get similar food from but the quality and taste are definitely lacking compared to all other establishments in its category. Highly recommend going elsewhere especially if you’re on a budget and can’t afford to risk purchasing gross food that ultimately goes in the trash rather than your belly. The drive through was closed without any signs. I drove to the window, thinking the speaker wasn't working. I idled there for a couple minutes, assuming they were busy, before a very unpleasant woman came to the window. First she started to yell at me through the window, before finally opening it up to belch out, "the drive thru is closed". I wasn't there to argue that fact, but simply let her know there wasn't a sign so no one would know that. She informed me that there was one at one point and that she'd replace it before shutting the window without me being able to even say thank you or anything. I went around the building and went in. When I got inside she was rudely telling a customer that they would have to order a sandwich. I'm not really sure if they were confused about the menu or if they wanted to use the bathroom and she said they had to order first. I was so excited that she was the person that took my order. She attempted to be more pleasant than she was at the window, she failed. I did notice there were signs advertising for a new management position. I hope you find somebody quick. I hope to God...

The last 5 orders I have made they had to call and say that they did not have something. They are all different items and one day I felt like I was eating a crouton for bread.

I have ordered there for 5 years and this is the very worse it has been. I typically do not like complaining. To top it off one of these visits a blonde lady was screaming and swearing at someone behind the counter. I just cannot believe what a shift this store has made.

I hope someone reads this and really makes a change at the store because it needs it. I brushed off the small things but when it comes to terrible service, bad inventory control and quality control as a very loyal customer something needs to be said.
