We had a huge party upstairs and the experience was overall good. The food was hit or miss, the pasta portions are ginormous. Their homemade sauce was incredible. The salmon was perfect. I tasted the chicken Parm and the chicken was overcooked and dry and it is served with marinara instead of the homemade sauce which was a bummer. The tiramisu was perfection. The main issue was with one of our servers. Michelle was INCREDIBLE. We all absolutely loved her and even gave her a piece of the birthday cake. The hostess was amazing as well, she helped with everything and was an absolute pleasure. The issue was with Pam. She was rude. Just plain rude. She has no sense of customer service and she made sure to drill in our heads how much of a pain in the butt it is to keep getting us stuff and to separate checks. She even told us when we asked for coffee that it was going to take a lot of time and work to do but she guessed she could do it if we absolutely had to have it. 60% of the people in the room were servers at one point or another including myself. We all know how hard of a job it is but, that's the job. We were not there for a guilt trip or to feel like we were in her way or making her do too much. I would also steer clear of the calamari, the sauce it's in is really good but they are cooked really weird so they have this very tough consistency and are very chewy and rubbery in your mouth. They are not breaded.
Update: nonna t reached out to me and made everything right. Apparently the waitress is no longer there, not from me she had multiple complaints, and she even gave us a credit for the calamari. We had a great experience there besides the waitress. The calamari was just not for us but I'm sure others would find it delicious. I do recommend visiting here it is a lovely place and nonna...
Read moreWe have heard good things about Nonna T’s and decided to stop in right at 4 when they opened when we were in the neighborhood. We were seated automatically and the waitress was very sweet to our toddler and prompt with making suggestions and telling us the specials. This first thing I commented on to my husband was how clean the restaurant is and how nice the atmosphere is. We also had our 3 month old who was very fussy (screaming and crying actually) and I didn’t get to sit and eat my meal due to consoling her. Nonna came out and not only offered to hold my crying baby, but made my toddler special butter noodles without asking (which she loved). I went out to my car to feed my baby and Nonna brought me tiramisu, explaining she felt bad that I didn’t get to enjoy my hot meal. When my husband and toddler came out to the car with my boxed food, I was surprised to see Nonna carrying the car seat and diaper bag! It was like having family take care of us at the restaurant and we will definitely be returning. There aren’t a lot of restaurants like this. The food was excellent and authentic, prices are very reasonable. I can’t express my love for this place even though I ironically didn’t get to eat inside. I cannot recommend enough. Grazie...
Read moreMy family and I went here this past Friday night and were not thrilled with our experience. Our waitress Pamela was extremely rude and does not understand the definition of customer service. She continued to argue with my mother on how her meal was right when clearly it was wrong as the manager came back out to apologize for their mistake after taking the plate back for a second look with the kitchen. Pamela (who doesn't know what chicken looks like and mistakes it for veal) continued to make smart comments, ignore the issue, and bad mouth our table with her friends sitting behind us by calling us "Karen's wanting a free meal". Not the kind of service you would expect at a place you had high hopes for to celebrate your birthday and spend over $100. However I am pleased with how the manager handled the situation and the food was good! If you get the server named Pamela, save your time listening to her snarky remarks and ask for a different waitress who can make it worthwhile. I really enjoyed the lentil soup and the salads were amazing especially at such a low price, along with the pizzas. If the server wasn't so ignorant and knew how to admit when she's wrong, this place would of definitely...
