Original Review (Couple of days after opening): Just tried Raising Cane's for the first time! Expect long lines! I got there seven minutes after they opened and there were ten people already in line. Ten more showed up within the next minute. Tip: if you're going to use the drive-through, DO NOT ENTER OFF CENTER STREET; the drive-through is only accessible from the entrance in the Giant Eagle parking lot. Overall, the food was quite enjoyable! Here is a quick breakdown: Chicken: Amazing. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. Sauce: Surprisingly good. Hard for me to explain in words how it tastes, just very good. Totally worth the $0.39 for extra sauce. Fries: Crinkle fries. Good, but nothing special, just your standard fries. Coleslaw: I don't like coleslaw myself so I asked for it to be replaced with extra bread. Bread: This was the biggest disappointment for me. I was expecting buttery, garlic bread and I just had bread. I ended up giving my extra piece to my brother who commented that my bread was not as good compared to his, so I think my bread just did not get much attention. Lemonade: Not too lemony, not too sugary. I would recommend trying it! Bit pricy for the four of us, $63 and change, but would not be too bad for individual meals. Overall, I would recommend giving Raising Cane's a try sometime! I will definitely be going back sometime! Updated Review (5/13): I went back to Raising Cane's for a second time. There was no line this time around, so that was nice. My initial rating of four stars stands; almost everything I got was the same quality as last time I went. Chicken was crispy yet juicy. Fries were good. Sauce was tasty. My bread this time around had a little garlic flavor in it, and the bread itself is fine bread like I stated last time, but I still do not understand the hype around the bread. My lemonade this time had more of a lemon flavor, making it more enjoyable than last time. The only issue I had this time around was that the container my food came in would not stay shut. Thankfully, I did not lose any food. I still would recommend trying this place out and will be going back ever now and then myself!

It's always nice to find a new place that I'll never come back to. And it only cost me $9.85 for 4 fingers, small fries, and a free water! Their ordering board is full of "combos" and a classy selection of " tailgates and jugs", which should've told me everything I needed to know about this place, lol. When I asked about getting some items that were not part of a combo ( I assumed they would not be familiar with the phrase " à la cart"), I was told they were right next to the menu board. Other than the small list which I assumed were add-on items because of the exorbitant cost, and the full panel announcement that they had a celebrity endorsement (which is ALWAYS a very important criterion in my purchasing decisions 🙄), I couldn't see anything so I just asked her if I could order random stuff to which she replied yes. After paying, putting my credit card away, and receiving my food at the window, it occurred to me that they never asked me about sauce. I asked if they had sauces, which I was told were an extra $.39 each. I pulled my credit card back out, prepared to have it charged $.78 for a couple of sauces, but then I asked what they had. They only have their canes sauce which is spicy, or honey mustard. No standard barbecue like all their competitors? No. Ketchup? No. The final straw was when I took this expensive non-sauced purchase to my location, only to discover that neither have they asked me about salt or ketchup for my fries, but they didn't throw them in the bag like their competitors either. Oh, and the food was pretty lame too. It was fun while it lasted Canes, but it isn't meant to be...

As a customer who knows someone who works here and told the managers that night shift needs to be better they don't care. My fries are still unsalted and I got a piece of chicken with no breading. This is a brand new canes. Get it together hopefully the higher ups for this canes see this and actually care if not I will call and complain. Also the line moved super slow compared to day shift. Night shift is an absolute joke. FIGURE IT OUT. Just found a second piece. I will make sure the people I know that work there will tell the management again for the second time because this isn't the first time the night shift has absolutely disappointed me and the people I know. If you're gonna hold day workers to a high standard hold night shift to the same. Because they're getting paid the same but work half as hard. This place is honestly a joke. I'd rather drive 45 minutes to lakewood rather than go to mentor. And on top of all of this. Got 0 napkins. Mentor is garbage and I hope NRO fixes this absolute joke of a store. And they will hear from the people I know that work there.

I would like to start off by saying I hardly leave reviews, but I had such a good experience at this canes that I just had to show off my appreciation. I love Canes so much, before the opening of this one I had to drive all the way out to Cleveland to eat there but thanks to this I have a local canes! When I drive by Canes it is so clean and looks so nice. Then I pulled in and saw how long the drive thru line was. So I went inside. I saw a worker with a bright smile on his face he then greeted me. Then I walked in and the workers were super nice and patient. So with all of that I would have to say the working staff at canes is amazing. Then my food came out quickly. I would now like to take the time to say how most other people say stuff like “Disney land is the place where magic happens” but to me the magic happens in canes kitchen. Then I sat down and opened the canes box. I was greeted by HUGE chicken tenders they were cooked amazingly. I would also like to take this moment to point out how good the Canes sauce is (the best sauce in the world might I add) blends with the chicken! Then let’s go onto the lemonade, the lemonade was so good words can not describe how much I loved that lemonade. I have family down south and they always tell me about southern lemonade at the BBQ though I’ve never had this southern lemonade I’d imagine that canes lemonade is better! Then moving onto the fires my fires came out nice and warm. Along with they had just the right amount of salt on not so much salt that I said “these have to much salt”. Or they did not have to little salt that I did not taste the salt/they where flavorless. The closeslaw is without a doubt the best in the world much similar to the lemonade it was so good that words could not do it justice so just try this little slice of heaven for yourself! Then you have the bread much similar to the fires there was not so to much butter to the point it was smattered in butter as well as there not being such little butter that you do not taste the butter. Then when I finished a worker came up and said “are you done with that? I can take that for you” and thus he took my trash away! NAME ONE OTHER FAST FOOD RESTAURANT WHERE THE WORKERS DO THAT! I then walked out with a big smile on my face the same person that greeted me then said good bye to me. This is indeed my favorite restaurant on earth I WILL be recommending this to all my friends and I WILL definitely be coming back. To anyone who is reading this review trying to decide if they should go or not GO you will not regret it! Thank you so much canes you...
