11-29-2021.....zero stars Went here because it was supposed to have the salad bar up and it was not. I think it was up earlier but they broke it down way too early. I had called and they said they were open until 8-8:30 and we arrived around 7:20. Ordered dinner and the server said she had to make the salad but we could get our soup . The salad was lettuce with a couple of tomatoes and cucumbers and a sprinkle of cheese-nothing like what I would have had from the bar. The soup tasted okay but the noodles were mush in the chicken noodle. The pot roast was not seasoned whatsoever and same goes for the mashed potatoes and the vegetables. They literally were peeled and cooked potatoes then mashed with NO SALT OR BUTTER. The worst mashed potatoes I have ever had. The roll was dry. The only decent thing we ate was the chicken fried steak and it was nothing to write home about. They had it freezing in the dining room. I understand everything costs money but freezing your customers will not make them happy or want to come back. Serving bad food won't make them want to return either. I never had a bad experience here but that changed today.

Update: called 12-1-2021 Called and told they were sorry and I can get free dessert and that is it. Giving dessert for all around bad food is not good enough. Also said salad bar is down because of the fire. They were using the salad bar to make the salad. That makes absolutely no sense. There are plenty of places to pick from and only so many people that are going to eat out you all might want to focus on customer service. Again ate here countless times but...

My husband and I stopped here around noon on a Tuesday and there was no wait for a table. We had never been, and wanted to try it. Our server was friendly, but must have had a large section because it took her a while to get to us to take our orders. I got the salad bar and the battered fish dinner. It was just okay. The fish is like frozen fillets that were fried, and were greasy with some parts that had a weird texture. The French fries were standard, the green beans were literally canned green beans microwaved and put in a bowl (no butter, no salt or seasoning), and the salad bar was sub par. They have a very basic selection, and the soups were nothing fancy. I do not recommend getting the salad bar only for your meal, it's not very substantial. My husband got the breakfast, biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage patties, home fries. He said it was good, but the server forgot to bring him his sausage patty and instead he got extra gravy. We asked her for the patty and instead she came back with the roll I was supposed to get with my dinner. She did finally bring the sausage but my husband was waiting for 5-10 minutes to eat the rest of his breakfast. I felt like tables around us got more attention, and it wasn't like there was a wait for tables. There were empty ones around us. I would try it again, but would get something different, maybe breakfast. It's not anything to scream about, but is an option for breakfast,...

Decided to surprise my brother with lunch today with Mama, since I haven't been here before was recommended by my 2 brothers who have both been here before. So we were seated quickly, the waitress got our drinks, took me & mom a few minutes to decide on what we wanted, menu had a nice selection of food, since we're weren't sure on what we wanted so mom & I both decided on their cheeseburgers & fries my brother went with the cheesesteak which looked real nice.

The cheeseburger was cooked to perfection people say you can't cook a cheeseburger well done & be juicy, it'll be too dry, I beg to differ it was juicy as can be, you can tell it wasn't a premade patty, seasoned nicely, the fries were great also. My brother said his cheesesteak was awesome, next time that's what I'm going to order & try it for myself, the portions were huge, fries were enough for 2 on 1 platter, my brother decided to get the soup & salad bar which looked nice a variety of items.

I wish I knew the waitresses name, she kept checking on all of her customers making sure they were satisfied & drinks were filled without asking us which is a plus for me those are little details that are missed by a lot of other servers at other restaurants even though it's her job she did it well, I'll look for her next time I'm there.
