Big Lots — Local services in Mentor

Update: I made a complaint online to let their area manager know about the horrible customer service I encountered. I received an email, almost a month ago now, that the area manager was notified. Obviously, they don't care too much because I haven't heard a peep. So you know what I did? (I'm going to sound like a spokesperson lol) I went to Levin's furniture just 10-15mins away. They have been amazing! They have furniture of all sorts of styles and prices. They even let you know the EXACT date of when your things will arrive! They also have special financing you can do too. Save yourself the headache and go to Levin's furniture, seriously.

I opened up a credit card back in January just to purchase a couch and a loveseat. It's now March, and I've been calling and hearing the same thing "Oh it should be soon but we can't give you an exact date". Not once have they apologized for the wait. I just keep hearing them say "oh with the pandemic it's backed things up". If that was the case, how is Amazon as a company doing? I even asked for free delivery since I've been waiting almost 2months now and nope, somehow they can't and won't do it. Everytime I called just to ask they always had a passive-aggressive tone. Very poor customer service from the furniture department and the store manager. I would leave a 0 star if I could because they've done nothing for me except waste my time and send me a bill for 2 months so I'm paying on something I don't even have yet. Let it be known, they did not disclose that it would be months before I purchased this couch/loveseat combo. Be careful ordering furniture from them! I'll be cancelling my order and...

Love this one! Has what you need and in a good location... The management leaves much to be desired...went to purchase a patio table... the process works like this you take the cardup to the register and they bring the table well we get to the register the cashier asked is this in stock? We looked incredulously at each other and I said "how would I know? I don't work here... he even says what how do you know we have it? At that point I said do you want me to go in the back and look isn't that your job to find out we bring the card here if it's in stock you bring it if not we leave... he grabs his phone calls in the back and they ask where are they parked clearly. they had it in stock... Also signs put in misleading places... I purchased a umbrella stand with a 20% off sign inches from it and they refused to honor it said that the discount was was for everything but that..... I plan on reaching out to higher management about that because the so called manager was very rude and I felt disrespected.. I was with my 80 year old mother who had the foresight to have me take a picture...

I haven't been to Big Lots in several years, I just never thought about going. Today I was looking for some slippers that are on sale. I walked in and was wowed! At first glance it felt like I was in a furniture store. A nice furniture store! The entire center of the store is furniture, with the edges having home decor, small appliances, home organization and office needs. Included are pet supplies, cleaning supplies, greeting cards and wrapping paper, baking and pantry products. Christmas decor is abundant! I found table runners, tablecloths and hand towels decor with red VW Beetles (one of my favorite things!) with Christmas Trees tied on top. The Christmas trees are a nice quality and displayed with several themes guaranteed to fit any taste. You can bet I'll be returning to check out what's on my grocery list...
