I bought a loaf of their sourdough at the Brookfield farmers market. It was so hard I couldn’t even cut it with a bread knife. I had to throw the whole loaf away without eating a single bite. The next week I talked to the vendor about the issue and he was unconcerned and blew off my complaint. He seemed to think it was completely normal for bread to be that hard and suggested I try a bread with a “softer crust” as he put it. Read moreI bought a baguette, chocolate chip cupcakes, cinnamon donut holes and berry fruit bars from the Brookfield Farmers Market. The baguette is hard; we might be able to eat the middle of it, but I doubt it. The chocolate chip cupcakes are dry. The cinnamon donut holes are cake-like and the berry fruit bars are as hard as a rock. I spent $36 and everything is going the garbage....
