Donut King's — Restaurant in Merced

I went around 1:30 pm. I went to pick up an order my brother called in over the phone for two sandwiches and a drink. Their donuts are so soft and taste fresh. I had a glazed donut today. I would return for the donut itself. The sandwiches are always delicious. I get the bbq pork sandwich. It is also spicy. The bread is always a good crunch to bite into and not hard at all. I tried their vanilla chai with boba today, and I was pleasantly surprised. It's really yummy, and I would have it again. I can definitely taste both flavors. Customer service is always great. They are super helpful and nice.

This is one of my favorite restaurants of all time. I discovered this place after craving boba while on a trip in Merced, so I googled nearby boba places & found this gem. Their boba tea is incredible & they have a huge variety of flavors. They have incredible bahn-mi sandwiches that are incredibly fresh & flavorful. Their donuts are the best I’ve had as well, even beating out Krispy Kreme. But, the real star is the service. These people are not only fast & efficient, but if you’re from out of town, they’ll ask you if you want them to put the veggies for your sandwich in a ziplock so the bread doesn’t get soggy on the way home. I know that they are a donut shop, but DO NOT sleep on their banh mi, specifically the num nuong. Once you tried that, you would be here every week. I recommend it with everything on for the bahn mi. It's a little bit spicy, but not bad. Their donuts are not bad, but I come here specifically for the sandwiches. Super fresh, tasty, healthy and better than subway.
