Mamma's Pizza II — Restaurant in Mercersburg

Me and my family have been eating here for a very long time and used to truly enjoy it, but since the beginning of this year the food has been starting to lack in terms of quality (maybe we only just noticed it then). We were just going to brush it off, since it is essentially the last pizza place in town (especially to get good wings), but there is no saving grace. Recently our orders have been messed up, the pastas we have been ordering have been undercooked (including the meat), the wings come with feathers still attached, anything thats bread/pizza related is so burnt you could use it as a charcoal pencil and to top it all off the salads have been found with bits of spoiled veg and bugs. Again, its a small town, this is the only pizza place to order from that isn’t 15 minutes to an hour away, and they do a really speedy delivery, the staff is also has been very friendly to us and understanding to our needs when weve dined in before, but wed rather just not eat out at all or make the trek somewhere else to eat at this point because the foods quality control is nonexistent. (We only have the photo of the salad because everything was thrown away after a few bites.) We don’t want a refund, we dont care about getting our orders fixed now. We can no longer trust the food here wether we eat in or have it delivered. We wish for those who still eat here to know that your chances of getting food that doesnt upset you as of late is...

I really like Mamma's and LOVE that you can online order now. However, today was a disappoinment with the small pepperoni pizza I ordered. Everything else was good and the girl that delivered the food was super nice but the pizza was black and burnt underneath. It had a burnt odor and a burnt taste. I literally had to pitch it because every slice was black. I feel really left down because I order from them a good bit and I just wasted the cost of a small pizza that was so burnt and smelled burnt that I couldn't eat it. It is the first time that it has happened with pizza that I have ordered. Sometimes the pizza is browned some but not burnt. Mamma's reached out to me about the situation and are making it right. They are a good, honest company, especially Heather. If you ever have any issues with anything from them please let them know and they will do everything to make it right. Sometimes things happen but Mammas is one of the few places that I have ever dealt with that are courteous and truly care about their customers! If you are looking for an A+ pizza and sub restaurant with a caring staff who treats you respectfully, look no further than Mammas. Try them and you will be glad...

The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the place was clean and staff was very nice and friendly. I give the pizza 1 stars. It didn't have any taste to it. The pizza was very bland and had just no taste to it. I was very disappointed as Mamma's Pizza everywhere else I have loved. The sauce and cheese didn't have to taste I have always gotten everywhere else. Also where was the cheese?? They only put a thin layer on the pizza. It could of used alittle more cheese. I paid extra for 2 topping and they didnt really put enough toppings on the pizza for the price thats charged. Pizza doesn't cost alot to make and the profit margin is huge for cost to make a pizza vers what you charge a customer. The pizza was fresh though, so I give them points for that. I just moved to Mercersburg a month ago and I'm thankful that there's 2 pizza shops in town. Maybe this was an off night for pizza. I really wanna give Mamma's another chance but IDK if I should. Let's hope this Mamma's gets it together. Everytime I've driven by Mamma's there's never but a few cars there, which should of given me a clue what I was in...
