4 of us were on vacation and thought we'd try this place. After receiving drinks, chips and salsa nothing else went right. My mom received her chicken but none of the toppings nor tortillas. My sister received her main dish but no sides. After asking the waiter for 20 minutes where my aunt's and my food was the table next us was given my dish only before they got their drinks. Then my aunt's taco salad that was supposed to have no sour cream or guacamole came out and it was sloshy like bean water covered in sour cream and guacamole. They brought my fajitas and beans but the lady at the next table had my main dish. We asked for the rest of our tables food to be recooked and made properly they just put my sister's back in the deep fryer and brought it out. I never got my food. So we decided to leave. The waiter kept hiding back in the kitchen. When we were leaving and trying to pay for our drinks and chips, salsa and cheese dip we were made to pay for the entire meal and we never ate...
Read moreI live in Mercersburg and recently became aware that this restaurant had opened. I went over today to try out their cuisine. I seated myself and very quickly I was served fresh chips and sauce. I ordered the Tres Compadres which consisted of a boneless chicken breast, one rib eye steak, shrimp, rice and beans and one fried jalapeno pepper. My food was served very promptly. The waiter was friendly , the service was excellent and the food was top notch. While I ate I was asked at least 3 times if everything was okay. The restaurant was bright, and clean. I had apple pie and fried ice cream for dessert. I could not eat all of my main meal and took some home. I was very happy with the quality of the food and the service. This restaurant is a welcomed addition to our small little town. I am sure I will be there often. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes authentic Mexican food. I forgot to note that this is a family owned business which is something...
Read moreThis restaurant was opened April 10 of 2022. I found out about it today, while I was on my way to the hardware store. I suggested to my wife that we give it a try for dinner. What a pleasant surprise! The food here is excellent. My wife had the chicken and beef burrito and I had the chorizo and beef enchilada. The portions were generous and the flavor was amazing. For those patrons looking for meatless menu options, they offer several vegetarian dishes. Every table was occupied. Service was a bit slow, but that's to be expected for a new restaurant. There were four servers and three employees working in the kitchen. Service was friendly and pleasant. Prices were very reasonable. There is a porch area with tables to sit outside as well. The menu is extensive for a small and new restaurant such as this one and they also offer desserts. I can easily recommend this restaurant and will definitely...
