Da'Villas Creme and Cookies — Restaurant in Merchantville

Walked in to see two teenagers behind the counter on their phones, blasting Eminem uncensored, took 15 minutes to get a milkshake and a cup of gelato because the girl was messing with her AirPods for 5 of those minutes, and got food poisoning from the gelato. Currently sick from the food we got last night, the reviews have to be bot reviews or made by the business because they all use the same words and phrases as nauseum. The only games are Jenga and Connect Four, which is missing game pieces, the music was obnoxiously loud and the teenagers working there didn't know what ice cream flavors they had on hand. The "Cookie Monster" was mint chocolate chip, which they said they were out of, and then weren't sure on how to make my son's milkshake or my husband's sundae, where the ice cream was hard as a rock and nearly broke the spoon when we got home. We all started feeling sick a few hours after eating it and am really paying for it the next day.

Never going back there again because the food poisoning and horrible service...

It was my family’s first time at Da’Villas & we were greeted with a warm welcome from Nevaeha! She ran down everything that the ice cream parlor had to offer. She spent a lot of time expressing what she liked or didn’t like and I appreciated that since there is so much to choose from. I selected all of her recommendations and I was not disappointed and neither was my family. While I was being helped by Nevaeha, Gigi quickly helped my daughter and had her already licking the ice cream off of her face.

I am a huge stickler on customer service, especially being a business owner myself. Nevaeha and Gigi went above and beyond on their service by taking their time with us, on top of that, we were the last customers of the evening . Most places would have probably rushed us out of there but they made sure we were taken care of.

Thank you so much for a great dining experience ! It is truly a lost art that is perfected at Da’Villas establishment! Not to mention the ice cream and cookies...

We discovered this place by accident here on Google Maps, but it was our lucky day! This place is a hidden, local gem. They have a great variety of flavors, which they switch every month or a couple of months, I forgot what the girl who worked there said. She was working the front by herself that day, and it wasn't busy. There was only one family before us sitting inside, enjoying their ice creams and shakes.

The scoops are BIG, much bigger than we anticipated because we already had all just gotten the smallest cup, and still, it was packed. You're also able to try samples prior to buying, and all the flavors...
