Gourmet Kitchen Wings & Teriyaki — Restaurant in Meriden

First of all they have horrible customer service. I placed my order over the phone and they hung up on me without letting me complete my order. They took over an hour to bring me my food and when I got my food it had a hair in it. I called them back and requested a new plate and she refused to make or bring me a new plate. So I drove over there to see if they would make me a new plate and her exact world word and I quote " what do you want me to do, mistakes happen" so I got frustrated and told her to just refund me my money, and they made an issues out of that as well, her husband came from the back shouting at me telling me that that wasn't their hair. But why would I give back an uneaten plate of food that was already payed for? After going back and forth for about 10 minutes they finally gave me back my money. I had never ordered from them before and had never been in the restaurant. But after going in person and seeing the conditions that they cookin, the conditions they keep their restaurant, and how they treated me. I will never go back nor order from them again. This place HAD a full Chinese menu as of a month ago. They closed for a few weeks, reopened with a slightly different name, (Gourmet Kitchen Wings and Teriyaki 🙄), and 80% of the menu is GONE.

No lunch specials, no dinner combos, no chef's specials, no seafood dishes, and so on and so on. This is no longer a Chinese restaurant menu... now it's a freakin' GrubHub menu.

So I paid $11.75 for an order of Beef Lo Mein (heinously overpriced, that tracks) and bid a fond farewell to what WAS one of my favorite Chinese spots in the area.

If I could I would NOT EVEN GIVE THEM A HALF OF A STAR!!!! The lady was rude from the moment she took my order rushing me and I ask her for extra duck sauce and told her twice and she says okay. well I get my delivery and there is literally ONE sauce in the whole order and I have two containers of rice for 3 people to eat!! I called back and she says to me ohhh okay well there is only one driver well I ordered from y guys how r we soppose to eat all this rice with one sauce when I specifically asked for extra sauce !!
