Caribbean Restaurant LLC#1 — Restaurant in Meriden

Well, let me start by saying this place was referred to me by a DJ from La Mega radio station. First, when we arrived no one greeted us. We found a table is was dirty. We moved to another one. The waitress didn't bother to clean the table we moved from. My wife told her that the table was dirty and she got mad. Second the waitress gave my family and I English menu as she asked for our order. She gave an attitude everything, and we asked something from the menu dhe didn't understand what we saying in English I told her something in English. So, why give us English menu in the first place. Last, when she left she came back 15 minutes later only to drop off forks, spoons, and napkins. Also, I saw a customer told her to clean the table it was dirty. Another thing I heard when a customer wanted to order a Piña Colada to the waitress the told her that can't do Piña Colada because they have a big line. That is not a customer's problem. When the customer order something you do anything to please the customer. Why, because the customer is paying and give tips. But, what made it worst when she stated sorry I didn't see the boy. How in the he'll she didn't see my son when he order fries when she asked what we want. So we got up.and left. Never got a chance to taste the food at all. Finally, I see they handle the food and money without gloves. I will call the health inspector. I won't recommend my family or friends to stop by this Restaurant at all if they going to have this kind...

• Food is molded* and if that’s not enough Maritza’s attitude is nasty! Make sure you check your food because she gives smaller portions then every other server! She’s the only dark skin one there as she loves to keep telling everyone! The boss has more attitude then all the girl servers combined meanwhile they are selling expired products, they do not clean any of the food containers, or juice containers. I’ve been told by people who work there that there is mold and fongus growing on everything and they do not clean it, that’s why people that work there don’t eat there! I was completely surprised, I guess that’s the extra flavor!! Will never go there again! It’s to expensive and they just rose their prices again, for portions way to small! I mean they only Fill the plate with rice!! Absolutely no meat!! They are cheap with the meat, but I’m sorry I’m not paying $9 for white rice!! I can buy a 20lb bag for $7! I went to explain something to the owner, the little short 4 foot lady and she goes yeah and?? I just laughed and understood immediately why Maritza acted that way! Either way I need to let everyone else know that they are just very nasty people that don’t understand customer service comes first!! Their food is Delicious! (When they don't run out. So go early.) Yesterday was Wednesday and I didn't have a long wait, which was nice. Sometimes the line is out the door! Especially on a Friday night or Saturday. I Wanted to buy 3 or 4 Beef Empanadas and they only had 1 Chicken left and said you had to pre-order them. I wasn't happy about that. But now I know for next time. I was born and raised in Meriden, but now I live in Milford. I have been stopping at this Restaurant for at least 12 years. I found myself sampling my food as I was driving on the highway. lol... I bought enough for 3 people. Yellow rice with the red beans, potatoes and sauce on top, Fried pork, 1 Empanada and 2 Potato Balls. My car smelled SO Good, The smell was so enticing! I couldn't wait to get home to try it, so I drove 1 handed! LOL... It's that Good. I also ate too much and have a stomach disorder. Needless to say, I ended up eating way too much and my stomach hurt for a few hours. But it was worth it!! One thing I do have to say, and I'm sorry. But the Potato Balls were very Greasy this time.
