Grace's Place and the Rino Stage — Restaurant in Meriden

We had a wonderful time at this Meriden cafe/sober bar. The atmosphere is very cozy and unique — think your Italian grandmothers house. The owners have thought about every little detail and despite going 5 days after grand opening it seemed to be running as if it had been open for years. The service was great — Cessa and Zach were a team effort in creating mocktails (the Silver City Sunrise and Nojito), and a very strong macchiato! We also picked up some items they had stocked (jams and reusable kitchen towels with a cute design). We grabbed a wonderful pastry for dessert too — a raspberry/coffee cake square.

My new favorite spot! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, the décor is beautifully done, and the staff are always so friendly and welcoming. The coffee is consistently delicious, with plenty of varieties and flavors to choose from. My personal favorite corner is the Frog and Toad reading nook, it’s such a charming touch. If I had one small critique, it’s that the large coffee isn’t quite large enough for me and I always find myself wishing for just a bit more once it’s gone! Overall, this place is an absolute gem.
