I was recently an unhappy employee at captin ds for almost 3 months. I would say that i was mostly unhappy with the management there. Some crew members were rude and have bad attitudes.One of the managers named wayne i believe have mental issues because there several occasions when he would get overwhelmed with the job and throw huge tantrums in the kitchen with involves throwing dishes, food and using curse words aloud. There has been twice i have seen that customers witnessed is terrible and also violent outburst. One of the the customers togo plate he threw at me and the customer decided to defend me on my behalf. On another occasion a custumor witnessed on of his tantrums and walked out no longer seeking service. Ive also saw him make playful sexual gesters towards one of the other employees. The General Manager Richard us fully aware of Waynes outraged behavior that has not only been reported by me but other employees and customers. One of the customers called cooperate.Manager Wayne Edward Welborn is a registered sex offender, if you google him you could find his records. As ive stated i complained to the general manager Richard about Waynes behavior he promised me the he would sit Wayne and i both down and resolve the issue, it was never even acknowledged again. The general manager Richard is also spiteful and shows favouritism. Because i noticed that after i complained and emailed cooperate about waynes behavior there was a huge difference. My schedule hours went down lower then usual even though we were short on staff, Then i noticed Richard change in attitude and more on my back then usual which made become very uncomfortable. I found another better paying job, so i put in my 2 weeks witch i felt like that was what he was motivating me to do by being spiteful, so then the day after next i ask him to disregard thr noticed he told me to ask shannon and Michelle. Shannon was uslnsure why he would refer me to them, Michelle on the other hand seemed more prepared for the question her answer was no because she said i usedl my phone too much( thats something we all do) and That i dont greet my customers which is also not true so i told her that because everyday im in thr dining room i make very decient tips. So then she just said well that's my opinion, no. Not to mention me and Michelle had already had a disagreement because she did a 600 cash pull on my register didnt give me a reciept, then claims she lost the money. She also tried bcc to tell me that she irresponsibly left the money by my register long story short other staff members later informed me that she got writen up and had to repay the money . Read moreListen I used to go to this restaurant all the time but I only go once a month and sometimes once every two months because the service is awful. The young ladies that work in this restaurant be on their phones and have attitudes all the time. And for some reason if you are a regular they feel like they know you on a personal level and I don't like that and the reason why is because I have noticed that my food is undercooked some times and it be really greasy I don't know if they not changing their grease or not and also this restaurant needs to be shut down I will possibly talk to the right people to see if they can go and inspect the restaurant and possibly get it shut down. Because those young ladies in there are horrible they always on they phone and when you try to correct them and tell them they got your order wrong they want to get a attitude I am fed up with this place. Hopefully some of the other people on here that put a bad comment about this company can come together and get a lot of the people fired and they need to hire a lot of new people. If they don't do that they need to shut it down. Also I don't see none of them cleaning when I go to the restaurant most of them are on their phones or either talking. Read moreI've been eating at this location for decades. But it seems like the food quality has slipped below standard recently. I got the 4 piece catfish platter today with an extra side order of potato soup. 2 of the 4 pieces of catfish were spoiled and I had to throw them away. And the potatoes in the soup were hard and not thoroughly cooked. This was a $24 meal. And this is the 2nd time over the past few months that I've got spoiled catfish there. I'm not sure if I'll be going back again. I'm an older disabled gent and I don't get to eat out that often in these troubling times. And I expect for the meals to be edible and not where I have to throw half of the main course away. UPDATE: The message from the owner was useless. I messaged them and they didn't even reply. But I did give them another try Thursday (3-28-24). I ordered the same dish. And I couldn't eat 2 pieces of the catfish. They don't get any more of my business. And not only that. The corner table by the bathrooms had half a gallon of water spilled underneath it. I almost sat there. Luckily, one of the other diners caught my attention and warned me. That place has really gone downhill. That was definitely it for me. Bad fish, dirty dining area, done!!
Edit: I followed through and contacted them after the "reply from owner" where they said they wanted to make things right. I never heard a word...
