Meridian Railroad Museum — Attraction in Meridian

American railroad museums continue to amaze me with the amounts of memorabilia with which I can identify. Nationwide, I'm impressed by the historical progression of men and their activities, their hardware and equipment, and how all of this evolved across the 1800s.

Meridian has a well-kept building right on the tracks. Historical exhibits continue to be displayed and updated. A storage attic suggests more treasures will be displayed

They are working to get it up and running again. We just were blessed to run into a Mr. Scott, who's a veteran, who was working on some stuff there and let us in to have a look around.
