seems like a cool place to hangout on weekends or at nitght maybe, because they have live music on saturday, and kareoke (sp?) on thur and friday, but when I went at 3:30Pm on July 4th, the guy working (I won't say his name, but his initials are David) didn't have a clue of anything. I walked in and the big open place was empty except 2 couples (4 total people; 2 at bar, 2 at a table). He didn't acknowledge me, so I walked up to him, and he just kinda looked crazy at me so i asked if they were open and had food and beer to sell. he said yes. I asked when are you open, what are your hours? he replied "4 until (mind you it's 3:30) and then he said sometimes 11 till 2 (IT'S STILL 3:30PM)" So, I asked if I could buy some, and he said yes. so i asked if i could get a menu, and he said yes. finally i asked if I could sit anywhere and he said yes. So, finally I went back to bar to order my food and beer because he didn't come to my table to take my order. I asked him about the extensive selection of draft beer and he didn't know the difference between a lager and an ale, much less a pilsner or a red verses an amber or wheat. Also, out of the 50 selections, alll were empty except 9. The food was OK. the burger was big, and homeade, but it was not an even patty, thus it crumbled and fell all apart and the bun was small and thin and became useless. the fries were good. they called them seasoned, but they were simply slightly breaded w flour. the burger was big, probably 1/2 lb, but i couldn't eat it becase it was so uneven and lumpy. one part was 1/2 inch thick, 25% was paper thin. the other was random. it tasted like a burger from your own grill, but it was not pressed out even. It was also expensive. although it was a lot of meat, i didn't eat it because it was too messy. so, all in all, it's not an aweful place, but I wouldn't...
Read moreI am a bit confused about this place. The food was ok. I for me and my date, two hamburgers, and 1 order of fires. She had a beer. We both ordered water, I expected tap water.
They brought bottled water, no idea they were charging me $2 for each one. That was not good. That was a first, I've never been charged and if I had the waiter would have told me. He didn't.
The menu items were not listed. I though the burger was $8 but they charged $13 for each, fries were $4. I thought i was too much for the quality and quantity. With "taxes" and etc what I expected to be a $35 max bill was $57.
I did not nor was offered a receipt.
I called yesterday but it was not explained. but I know I didn't see prices on the menu. I have since looked on the web site for a menu with prices.. none.
what ever you do, please get an item breakdown so you dont feel over charged as I do. I should have known better.
Not sure if I'll be back unless I can get some clarity with the manager/owner. I feel somewhat taken...
Read moreNo ambiance, really just a beer joint- we We were a party of nine just looking to get some decent food and everywhere else had one hour waitlists. We were one of 2 parties in the place.
They have a very limited menu: burgers, fried things, chicken wings, and cheese steaks. They were out of chicken, and the drink choices were soda or beer, no wine, no liquor. The poor Waitress was doing her best and it turns out she was just a friend helping out the owner. She carried our beers over to the table one by one! This bar had no lemons, no limes, end it took a while to get our food, and not at the same time. At around 7pm the place filled up with loud young men and it resembled a frat party! If you want craft beer it’s great but do NOT expect a...
