One of the better Buffet’s I’ve come across has a wide range of options none of which tasted that bad and even a few good ones.
Sushi options were fairly good and having bit the bullet myself I can safely say that even if you choose a few of those your stomach isn’t going to tax you for it, though they do need to add labels on the sushi bar to tell you what kind of sushi it is your getting.
Plenty of health options to choose from though none of it is noteworthy but definitely not bad. Dessert options were varied as well and was regularly attended to to ensure freshness on the chilled and dairy items.
Very prompt and professional service by an attentive staff which is surprising for an ‘Asian buffet’ though the staff spoke with slight accents their English was more than adequate and concise.
The atmosphere was very nice as well another pleasant surprise as the owners and managers seem to take a great deal of care in the appearance of the restaurant from its scenery to its tables of which there was many with at least 3 different sections I counted that could suit solo patrons to very large gatherings. And despite how busy the place was with guest the noise from my fellow patrons was very much manageable adding to the atmosphere in a positive way though your mileage may vary.
Price was a little high but then again being mid 2024 what isn’t? But it was definitely on the lower end for what one could expect to pay in merit island. That may change in the future hopefully the economy improves and I expect the prices will soften if that happens.
Solid 4 out of 5 with the only detracting factor being that the food was decent but nothing to...
Read moreThere were two of us dining in on Saturday . Our bill was almost $44 before the tip. Neither one of us had any seafood of any kind and felt it was a little pricey. I’m wondering if you charge everyone that price assuming they will eat the seafood, sushi, etc. we just felt it was kind of expensive for a 4:30 pm sitting with no seafood consumed at all. The atmosphere was very nice, the wait staff were very nice and efficient . It was clean and that is a big plus for us. Maybe our taste buds were off today but honestly of all the food we sampled it seemed only the Hibachi chicken (excellent), the grilled mushrooms (also excellent) and the egg and spring rolls had any flavor. Maybe it’s just us. I love what you did inside and you keep the containers full. That was done quickly and efficiently, good job with that. And anytime my drink is kept filled gets an A+ in my book, and won’t ding you for having Pepsi (😢) instead of Coke products. I’ve been trying to find a hot and sour soup as good as the one we used to get at the Chinese restaurant that was on 520 as i used to actually crave that stuff. Sadly my cravings weren’t satiated today. Overall like what you have done inside and your...
Read moreDecided to check out the new Habachi Buffet on Courtney Parkway. The atmosphere was your typical Chinese buffet. I won’t even post any pictures because they’re all the same. Just a heads up, if you have a party over five there will be a 15% gratuity charge automatically added to your bill. The only thing I enjoyed was the sushi and the pepper steak. I could let the chicken & broccoli pass too. Everything else was not to my liking. Their steak was tough and gamy. In fact, so were their boneless spareribs. The Crab Rangoon was soft with a gooey inside I could not describe. Their fried dumplings almost broke my tooth. Unfortunately, while there, a family sat down behind us. They were all coming back to the table with their first plate when the eldest female fell ill. She was unresponsive and the ambulance was called. What I witnessed from the staff was mere inconsideration with a lack of sympathy as they stood there holding the poor families check as they scrabbled to gather their belongings. This family should have been allowed to rush out with the ambulance without paying for food they barely touched. Never going back. Prayers...
