My husband made reservations at Annabella's Restaurant for Thanksgiving Day and let me tell you it was just fabulous. I told the chef and manager that I would let Leisure World know. They have been under new management since May 2018. We had booked our reservation late this year and could not be seated at McCormick Ranch or Wrigley Manson. Annabelle's was available although the old reviews were not so good. We booked it anyway because it was close and available. I am so happy we did not listen to the bad reviews
We went and it was better than our past experience at McCormick Ranch and not as expensive. It was buffet style and had all the traditional varieties of food for Thanksgiving. The gravy and stuffing were excellent. They also had a breakfast brunch buffet and a wonderful salad bar with specialty meats, salad, and cheeses, dessert table. The buffet price included free Champagne or Mimosa's upon your arrival. We would highly recommend Annabelle's with it's vintage 1950's glamour and gorgeous chandeliers. So, if you want atmosphere and fine dining it is here at Annabelle. They are also open for breakfast lunch and dinner daily with outdoor pool view patio seating. We definitely are going there again and again and it's so close. I hope you take my recommendation and visit this restaurant so they can stay in business. We need a fine dining place close to L.W.

Read moreI was more than disappointed dining at Annabelle's on Thanksgiving. Having enjoyed the Christmas Brunch 5 years earlier I convinced my family to skip the cooking and go to Annabelle's. The hostess walked us to a table that was not ready and quickly rushed us back to the waiting area. The second attempt was not any better, the table cloth was disgusting, they didn't change it from the previous party, just wiped it down. I asked for a clean table cloth and while waiting we were handed the salt, pepper and sugar dish to hold? Our server was very nice and asked about drinks, we all got a single glass of champagne that was included in the $39.99 per person rate and it was warm and tasted very cheap. Off for the buffet, the turkey was a pressed roll and sliced, same for the ham that was sitting in water getting tough. They were missing the best thing of all, the sweet potatoes. The prime rib station was okay, but the meat was over cooked and dry. The cheese bar had a nice selection of cheeses, jumbo shrimp and a few other finger foods. The desert bar was yummy, but service on plastic plates. The bill comes and they have added almost 25% gratuity to my bill; for $214.00 for 4 people and 1 was my elderly mother, the experience rates only 2.5 stars. This will be our LAST holiday meal at Annabelle's, I was so embarrassed that I bragged so highly of this place and the meal was less...
Read moreBartender/ server...would dash from behind the bar to serve her favorites and ignore others. I had spent plenty there in the past and tipped generously...we waited for 20 minutes and when Monica showed up at our table she took orders from her faves and ignored us...we never got a drink. My friend talked me into giving her another chance....place almost empty she sat behind the bar talking with patrons...no drink or food order but when her lil couple showed up...she dashed out and took the order. I'm just one customer but this is a pattern n behavior and I will talk and let anyonewho listens know.....and not spend another dime there...thus is not acceptable...absolute disappointment ..utterly disgusted. It seems you don't offer any apologies for burnt customers...I am asking for at least a response ...even if it's half asked n cheap. Be adult n and take responsibility. Tried to give it another shot at Karaoke...total dud..karaoke host would not give an answer as to how long wait for singing was..just it'll be a while...short seems uptight..favorites get preference..absolute...
