Salad and Go — Restaurant in Mesa

I have been to this location many times. On average they are fairly good. Every now and then they serve grey colored bacon. So their food not always so fresh. My experience today is not the norm but was disappointing enough to share. Lets start with the female that was taking my order was short and rude not even giving a totally just kept trying to end my order. No total given just told go to the window. A nice young man was at the window he handed me my food and then the drinks. One of the 1st drinks was only 3 quarters full. I asked them to fill it all the way. This has happened before as well, normally I don't bother them since it doesn't happen often. Today I was purchasing for coworkers and the drink wasn't mine. One of the females working inside stated "what is she complaining abt it is only a $1." Let me start with the amt doesn't matter, I paid for a product and should receive it in the condition advertised. Secondly save your snarkiness for at home. The work place is not the right location to speak ill of the people who support your business. Negativity like that spreads and increases poor performance among the staff. The starting wage at this business is $3 an hour more than our state minimum wage, meaning that they receive better pay than many entry level positions. Well I'm not a huge salad person, maybe a once or twice a year occasion a day or two after you make your new years resolution to be healthy type deal. But when the Girlfriend says she wants a salad, you shut your sour cooler and go get a salad with her... So as I am pulling up in my 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 v10 4x4 5 speed manual NV5500 transmission with 79,980 miles on it, into the card board box of a resteraunt, allegedly the workers (My guess would be the girl in the camo shirt and unmatching mossy oak ball cap was saying stuff to the others) were doubting my skills and abilities to handle myself in my rig in the small parking lot meant for Toyota Prius's and Hyundai Elantras. Allegedly they didn't think I would be able to back my rig in, and even with the poorly built 4 ft. retention wall .683 ft away limiting the turning factors for me, I managed to get this puppy up and fit er in that parking spot like a little child cuddling its mother on a cold January winter night. Nuff said. The salad was good, the Girlfriend was happy, so in return...

I really love this place and their salads, and we come here almost every day, but it just really sucks when places decide to leave earlier than the printed time.. Like I get that you want to go home and everything, I really do, and of course if it was a question of an hour or something I would at least understand why that would be worth it, but when you decide to close 10 minutes early, it’s just a few more minutes for you, and you never know who is racing the lights to try and make it in time after they get off their own job late in the evening..

I got here at 8:55 thinking that I’d made it with time to spare, and then it turns out I made the trip for nothing. :/ if you want to close before 8:55, that’s totally ok with me, but just change your business hours to 8:55 instead of 9 then, or whatever time you’re actually closing so I know what I can expect and not waste my time rushing to get there by a time that you’ve already...
