Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Mesa

This location of cold stone was a complete disappointment. My boyfriend and I went in expecting a friendly staff, and good ice cream. We walk in and are completely ignored by two workers for about 10 minutes while there was only one other customer in the store. When we ordered, the worker was quiet and mumbling, we asked her to clarify and seemed annoyed when we had to keep asking her to repeat herself. When we paid and received the ice cream we ordered, which were both supposed to be "love it" sizes. My boyfriend receives a "like it" size right off the bat. Mine appeared to be the proper size, so we ignored it and headed home although we paid for the bigger size. When I get home to eat my ice cream, I take off the lid, and it turns out they put the ice cream in a "like it" size, then put that container inside of the "love it" size, yo make it appear to be larger than it was. We paid for two "love it" ice creams and received two "like its", this location will no longer have...

On Mothers day I ordered a cake. Roughly cost me $45 dollars. When we cut into the cake, there was still WAX PAPAER in there. I called and complained. I was given a full refund and a free cake. Never collected on the refund. Fast forward to today. I order a cake online for Fathers day. I can in ahead of time to ensure the time and guess what? There have no record of my cake even on file. I triple check my email records and SURE ENOUGH. It's the correct location and time. They first tell me that they can make it and have it ready by tomorrow. No, I ordered it for today @ 1. Manager gets involved. Says its can be ready by 4. So now I had to push back my party and have someone leave in the middle so we can get this cake. Completely unacceptable. Almost $100 of cake messed up. AND I'm still waiting on the manager to call me back and find out how we can resolve this. He has only spoken to his employee and sent her...

Love the ice cream and I would say a majority of the time staff is great. However there are times when we are disappointed with the product we receive. They are inconsistent with how much ice cream they give. Most recently the girl making ours said the "Mix-ins" (love it- w/ Pecans and yellow cake) couldn't be mixed in.🤔 She looked at me like I was a criminal for even asking, then stared at her coworker until they told her to mix them in. Before this I had never had an issue with getting our mix-ins mixed in. On top of that I received a like-it amount of ice cream in a love-it container. we will continue to go to this location but would probably go more often if they fixed these issues. Seems like every time we have a bad experience we go a longer time...
