Be warned they will try to rip you off.

Sent my son their tonight to get 3 combo's.

Chinese lady tells him it'll be $28. Little high based on their menu prices on the flier I have on my fridge but not out of line for 3 people.

He hands her the CC and she proceeds to try and give herself a $4+/- tip on CC causing the card to be declined because it only had $31.

She proceeds to blame him, I get the email about the decline before he is able to text me and I ask him why he just tried to charge $34 to the card I told him it had $31 available. He replies, she said it was $28. I screen cap the attempted charge (got to love Google Wallet for showing it in the ledger.) She redoes the transaction and now its $24 she says. And proceeds to tell him that the screen shot I sent him is wrong and refuses to give the register receipt to him, just a copy of the CC machine receipt of the final transaction.

This used to be a great place to get Chinese food in this area, but it sold sometime early part of 2015 and has gone down hill since.

Now I can't figure out their math, because according to their menu the 3 items we ordered totaled $24.45 before tax, and the final charge was $24.20 while the initial charge was $34.62.

Now I did ask for my white rice to be pork fried rice, a small on their menu is $4.25, that would bring the total bill before tax to $28.70 and $30.31 after tax. But the charge was $34.62??? Then it went to $24.20 total??? which would be the small pork fried rice removed and that then some.

So they tried to take me...

On Thursday my son ate some sesame tofu from Hot Wok, after eating it he began violently vomiting and experienced severe diarrhea. Right away I called the restaurant and asked to speak with the manager. When the so called manager got on the telephone I politely explained what had occurred and that I was calling to make her aware so that they would not sell anymore sesame tofu to any more customers and she should check the food. This woman began screaming at me that "my food no make people sick, there is nothing wrong with my food" She continued ranting and yelling and was very irate. I wasn't asking for a refund or anything like that.. I simply was calling to inform the restaurant manager so they would be aware that they are selling bad food. After a few minutes of listening to her in a tirade I realized that this "manager" wasn't going to stop yelling at me with accusations of me being a liar... I simply said goodbye and hung up the phone. I do not recommend this...

Wow! Just experienced the absolute delight that is Hot Work's lunch special, and I'm still buzzing from the deliciousness and incredible value! For a mere $11.50, I walked away with a generous serving of their stellar orange chicken – perfectly tangy, sweet, and those crispy edges? Divine! But wait, there's more! Nestled alongside that orange goodness were not one, but TWO perfectly fried egg rolls, each bite a satisfying crunch followed by flavorful filling. And as if that wasn't enough, a comforting small soup with crackers rounded out this feast. Seriously, the amount of food I got for such a reasonable price is astounding. Every single component of the meal was top-notch, bursting with flavor and clearly made with care. If you're looking for a lunch that will not only satisfy your cravings but also leave your wallet happy, run, don't walk, to Hot Work. This lunch special is a steal, and the food is simply outstanding! Five stars all...

My partner and I enjoyed the large order egg drop soup and teriyaki chicken platter with two waters. Very reasonable prices for a couple. Portion sizes just right. The food is delicious, although nothing spectacular. I mean what can one really expect from soup. The chili oil did add to it although I was hoping for a bit more oil than chili flakes. The food wasn't super hot temperature wise, which in a way was nice not burning our mouths. The interior wasn't exactly a 5 star restaurant but was clean ish. The staff seemed friendly and engaging. One also has to remember other cultures have varied ways of communication and interaction and to be respectful. Overall, I give it 4 stars.

I love Chinese food but this was Terrible. I got lemon chicken, it sounded so good!. The breading was burnt & hard falling off the chicken. The chicken was rubbery, the sauce is separate & watery like lemonade, does not stay on the chicken just dribbles off & sits at the bottom. I ordered to go bc I'm not home no silverware no chops sticks. No fortune cookie. Their chips where weird & just tasted like oil...I'm upset! I don't even want to try my hot& sour soup I have to drink it! I'm upset!
