It wasn't great. Everything looked pretty good when we got it but the looks were deceiving. We got a pizza, a Stromboli and some garlic bread. First off, the garlic bread, and I don't know any other way to describe this, tasted like how a nail salon smells. So, not good. It reminded me strongly of nail polish remover. The pizza was average at best but I ordered it with extra cheese and either they forgot to add it or the normal amount is miniscule. The crust was also very tough and hard to chew. It was edible but I wouldn't order it again. The Stromboli was the most disappointing. When we cut into it, the dough inside was still raw and we did double check to make sure it wasn't just a cheese pull. It wasn't. To give it a decent shot we cooked it a little longer but even fully cooked it was still bad. There was no flavor at all and the cheese had that cheap waxy feel to it. It was pouring out grease. It was just bad. Overall, not worth the time or money spent. Will not be ordering from here again unfortunately.

We tried this place for dinner one evening. We were greeted at the door and sat right away. They do fill up quickly so get there early if you want to get a seat right away. We ordered the Fried Artichokes and some Garlic Knots. Both were just delicious and cooked to perfection. We ordered a Meat Lovers pizza which was cooked to perfection. Even though they were busy the care that was put into making and cooking the pizza was just amazing in the way it tasted and looked. They are a small family run place so you will see the owners there almost all the time. They are open for lunch at 11:00am and close early for 8:30pm on weekends and 7:30pm during the week and are closed on Sundays. The restaurant was clean as were the restrooms. You will usually be checked on by one of the owners during your meal. We cannot wait to return and try some of the pasta dishes they have available. A lot of care goes in to making the food at these restaurant and you can taste it in every bite.

We found this restaurant on a whim, and we are so glad we did. We tried the following: - Garlic Knots - Bruschetta - Grandma's pizza slices - Lasagna - Calzone - Chicken Penna Pasta - Oreo Cheesecake - Raspberry Cheesecake - Sangrias I can't begin to describe all of the different flavors. The food was simply amazing. Everything tastes fresh, and from what I understood, everything is homemade. The way each plate was prepared was awesome. You can taste all of the flavors beautifully The service was as good as the food. It is hard to find service as good as the service here at this restaurant. Even the Owner came over to check on us. That is hard to find these days. Overall, I'm going to tell you the same thing I told my wife: we are for sure coming back. I want to try the entire menu. Do not hesitate - visit this place! Update 6/3: visited again, and this great place never disappoints!

I come from the east coast, specifically Philadelphia and south Jersey, where pizza is a sacred thing that we take for granted as good pizza exists on every street corner.when my family moved here over 10 years ago i was shocked to find the sorry excuses for pizza people have come to accept in Arizona. Only after YEARS of trial and error have i found anything that even comes close and there are less than 5 " acceptable" pizzerias in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area. THIS PLACE IS THE BEST ONE! Not only do i consider it " on par" with the average pizza from back east, its up there with THE BEST pizzas ive ever eaten. and i can honestly say some of what La Famiglia has to offer is BETTER than ive had anywhere on the east coast( specifically their white pizza with grilled chicken).and i actually did not go here for the pizza at all. It was one of the few Italian restaurants we liked to frequent due to the quality, fresheness of the food, their full and accurate menu( its frustrating that so many places mis-identify classic dishes and you expect you ordered one thing but you get their " interpretation" of it and its a totally different thing), excellent service and pleasant atmosphere even when they're busy. Only after eating here on occasion for a year or two did we ever order a pizza.it was late and didnt feel like driving to Scottsdale or downtown tempe to grab a pizza, or settling for a plfp (pizza like food product) from a discount fast food chain. Our first order was a" safety" order( kind of a baseline " if they cant get this right its not worth my time" basic test) of a pizza with sausage, onions and green peppers, and a hawian for the kids. Both were fantastic. Great legitimate sliced iItalian sausage fresh vegetables, just enough sauce that was flavorful, zesty and just the right amount of sweetness.the crust can only be called PERFECT.the most common failure of most pizza places here is the crust. Its hard to quantify exactly how they screw it up but its just off. That is not the case with La Famigila.its just PERFECT. After that we got the white pizza with chicken. If you like white pizza you HAVE TO TRY IT. It is amazing. Hands down the greatest ive ever had. I cant really say any more about it.and the grilled chicken was seasoned amazingly.im hooked.ill be back...

Wish you could leave different "stars" for food vs service. 8 of us met for a birthday dinner, it was obvious we were not 1 family, especially since we all arrived separately. Not sure if the waiter was having a bad day or what but he was very "snarky" and rude. 3 of us order baked ziti, another order ziti with meat sauce - (not baked). After taking our orders the waiter came back from the kitchen and asked our friend "you wanted the meat sauce on your baked ziti right"? She didn't catch that this time he said baked and said yes, thinking he was just confirming meat sauce. When we got our meals she was given baked ziti with meat sauce, instead of just the regular ziti with meat sauce. She let the waiter know that it wasn't what she ordered and he proceeded to argue with her. She finally just asked if he could please get her what she ordered and he said of course but again said "you ordered baked ziti." He finally agreed to bring her out the regular ziti with meat sauce. Not sure what he felt it necessary to make a big scene out of it instead of just getting her dish corrected. We were still drinking and talking when the waiter brought the bill, (we hadn't even asked for it), he brought 1 bill. Prior to this he had never asked if we wanted 1 check or split etc. We asked if he could split the bill and he said no. One of us asked "I don't understand why you can't split it, other places are able to." He just said I can't, that's how I rang it in. He went away and came back a few minutes later and felt it necessary to snottily say "it's interesting that you said our other places split, we don't have another place". Which is not what she said, she said other places, like other restaurants etc. None of us really could understand why he was so combative and snarky. We were not a difficult table at all. Our bill was over $250.00 and even with his bad attitude we tipped...

If you're looking for an authentic New York-style pizza experience, look no further than this pizza parlor. From the first bite, it's clear that the ingredients are of the highest quality, and the attention to detail in the preparation is truly impressive.

One of the standout features of this pizza parlor is their commitment to sourcing all of their ingredients from New York. This means that every slice of pizza is made with the freshest and most flavorful ingredients possible, from the locally-sourced tomatoes in the sauce to the artisanal cheeses and cured meats.

The crust is crispy and flavorful, with just the right amount of chewiness. The sauce is tangy and full of tomato flavor, while the toppings are generously portioned and perfectly balanced. Whether you're a fan of classic toppings like pepperoni and mushrooms, or more adventurous options like arugula and prosciutto, you're sure to find something to love here.

In addition to their delicious pizzas, this pizza parlor also offers a range of other menu items, including salads, sandwiches, and desserts. And of course, no pizza meal is complete without a cold beer or glass of wine to wash it down.

Overall, I would highly recommend this pizza parlor to anyone looking for a truly authentic New York-style pizza experience. From the fresh ingredients to the expert preparation, every detail is clearly crafted with care and...
