Manna BBQ. Oh. My. Goodness. My partner and I have been coming here for a little over a year now and I am NEVER disappointed. We’ve gotten to know some of the staff pretty well and they are always so attentive to our needs. The food is perfect, the drinks refilled, everything is just ALWAYS so good.

However, I wanted to write this review because today we went and got to see a not so great moment. A group of six adult men came into the restaurant and immediately sat down. They didn’t wait for the staff to take their temperatures, didn’t wait to be seated, just took it upon themselves to ignore all the signs posted and sit masks off. Quickly, Un Sun and Anny walked over to address the situation. They advised, SUPER politely that the men couldn’t sit directly behind my partner and I due to social distancing within the restaurant.

Not all 6 were going to fit into the one small booth. Un Sun and Anny offered to move them to the large table in the back that would sit all six. The men became upset and began talking loudly about how they were going to do what they wanted. They offered to split them into two groups of three and have them sit across from each other still leaving a table between us and them (because social distance). The men again refused.

Un Sun and Anny kept their composure, their politeness, and were absolutely so sweet the entire time. They just were adamant that the men couldn’t sit directly behind us. Finally the men got so angry at not getting their way they yelled they were DONE and walked out.

I just really really wanted to write this review and express how impressed I am with the politeness, the flexibility, and the absolute care these wonderful ladies had during this exchange and always have every time my partner and I eat here (which is often.) Un Sun and Anny, thank you SO MUCH for keeping us and your other patrons safe and always providing an amazing experience. I appreciate you...

I want to start off by saying I drove 35 minutes to eat here because I heard it was better than the original manna spot in Glendale at Westgate, WRONG. As my boyfriend and I walked in, we were told to follow one of the waitresses. She turned around and told her boss that it’s full. We then had to wait no more than 10 minutes which was fine. We were seated right behind the cash register the spot where my boyfriend was sitting had no padding on the back Of the seat. I decided to let that go. When it came time to order, asked for the manna steak she said I could not order it which was weird because it’s on the menu. I need up ordering dumplings and another choice of meat as well as fried rice, I want to start off by saying the portion of fried rice was horrible at least 3 tablespoons… the meet was marinated very well, but when it came to cooking it, a grill wasn’t hard enough I asked her for it to be hotter, and she walked away. I even tried to adjust it myself, and noticed that it was on its highest level of heat, I was already really disappointed at this point, but I decided to just finish out the meal I ordered probably 5 to 6 proteins including chicken. I cook the chicken. I want to say for 20 minutes. The inside was visibly cooked. My beef took about 10 minutes to cook back to the dumplings that I had ordered twice I didn’t receive them until the third time I ordered them When they came they were soggy on the inside, not fresh at all. I also want to throw on the fact that I’m seven months pregnant and I take my health very seriously. I had such high hopes for this restaurant only to be treated with little to no respect and hospitality. I woke up this morning with severe food poisoning, throwing up and stomach pains. I will be reporting this to public health and safety. I asked for the grill to be hotter I asked for fresh food. I wasn’t given that. I wouldn’t go here...

Oh so happy that I decided to check this place out! We are obsessed with Korean bbq and so glad that there are a few options to pick from in the valley.

We arrived on Saturday around 1pm and the place was starting to get busy. We were a party of 7 so they had to do some arranging before we could sit down. We waited about 10 minutes and finally the hostess came around and took us to the back.

We were seated, taken our drink orders, and were brought out a salad right away. Sodas come in cans and each soda is $1.99. Oh and no refills. We all decided to go the A2 option ($21.99) instead of the premium option. ($28.99)

The meats we had were that of: Spicy pork belly: spicy but delicious! Great taste Spicy chicken: the chicken was very chewy and was our least favorite Bulgogi: very good! LA Galbi: delicious cuts of meat! The marinade was great! Beef brisket: waitresses recommendation and didn't disappoint! Steamed egg: too watered down and had no flavor, boo :(

Meats were brought out in doubles so each side of our table always had meat which was so convenient. The waitress was very attentive and always made sure our drinks were filled.

We were stuffed at the end and we were there about an hour and a half. There is a two hour time limit but that's more then enough time to finish.

Our total came out to be $175 for a party of 7.

I will definitely be back as...

If you haven't a lot of experience with Korean BBQ, this place in particular, this is what you want to do. Ask for small servings of everything until you've found what you like and then order more of that. Nothing's worse than having to power through a large portion of something you don't like so you don't get the $10 per person surcharge for leaving unfinished meat. DO NOT listen to the first review, the one that praises the veal intestines. Ugh, I had to try them just because I'm adventurous like that, but thank God I ordered an extra small serving! Those things were just like eating a bicycle tire. I know, I've eaten plenty of those. I had to hide then in a napkin and go throw them away in the bathroom. This place is absolutely fantastic though! And for what you get $25 per person is a freaking bargain. Compare that to the price of all you can eat Brazilian barbecue and you'll see that $25 ain't bad at all. One last thing and I'll be quiet 🤫. If you have to have your bacon crispy then don't even bother with the pork belly. It's basically super thick bacon and the little grill at your table doesn't get nearly hot enough to get it crispy. It has a lot more meat to it than typical bacon though so I just thought of it as "not bacon" 🥓 and it was pretty good. Not my favorite thing on the menu but still good. Thanks for reading my review.

Manna BBQ is a gem for anyone seeking an unforgettable Korean BBQ experience. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a warm and lively ambiance, perfectly suited for gatherings with friends and family. The wide selection of fresh, high-quality meats and the variety of flavorful marinades make every bite a delight. The side dishes, from kimchi to the savory dipping sauces, are impeccably prepared and complement the meal beautifully. What truly sets Manna BBQ apart, however, is the exceptional service. Christy and Jacinto are shining examples of hospitality at its finest. Christy is attentive and incredibly personable, ensuring every table feels valued and well-cared for. Her genuine smile and readiness to assist create an inviting atmosphere that elevates the dining experience. Jacinto, equally impressive, is efficient and knowledgeable, seamlessly guiding guests through the menu and offering expert recommendations. Together, their teamwork and professionalism enhance the overall enjoyment of the meal. If you’re looking for top-notch Korean BBQ paired with outstanding service, Manna BBQ—and specifically Christy and Jacinto—should be at the top of your list. It’s a place you’ll want to return to again and again.
