Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza — Restaurant in Mesa

Update from my last visit (1star) to my most recent visit. The hours on google are still wrong. Google says open every day until 9. Only certain days other days only until 8. I did call prior because it was 8:30 and they said Friday nights they are open until 9. So since I was able to get my delicious gourmet veggie pizza and the cinnamon a pinwheel i am giving them 3. The food itself deserves 5 stars though.

Original post: Showed up starving after a long day. The hours as soon in the picture said the location was open until 9. This was one of the only locations near me that stated open until 9. And it wasn’t even near me, it was still about 17 minutes away. Got there at 8:45 and all the lights were off. Got out of the car just to find a sign on the door that said “special summer hours” which showed closed 8 pm on Sundays. How rude and inconsiderate. You change the hours and only put the change on the door of the location that someone would have to drive to to find to find a closed location to read...

I had a rough patch here around last Christmas time. Had spoken to the new owner at the time and she really seemed to listen. Thought I had left a one star review from that time but I'm not finding it. I was going to update that review to this one. Throughout this year I have used this location, at first just to see if the new owner I spoke with had done anything with no expectations. It was around March I ordered again. Even being critical, I did see that the topping were back to being plentiful and the thin crust was back to having some weight to it. So I kept ordering waiting for the quality to diminish. We'll, I'm over the wait. Just got the Christmas time stuffed Chicago and was extremely happy. Since I can't find my previous one star to update I'll just leave this one. Hopefully things won't change here as they apparently are consistently...

I've been coming to Papa Murphys since it opened near me. Back when the pizza was affordable. Now I haven't been tons lately as I've been trying to eat more healthily, but today's visit has left me not wanting to come back. Getting a large thin crust With extra cheese & pepperoni almost $20. That's more than their "artisan" thin crust pepperoni with many more toppings. If the pricing were transparent, I'd say my bad i should have paid more attention. However, the extra cheese was listed in the $2 section, but I was charged $4. And of course no manager on site so no one can do anything about it. And they already had my money. $2 not huge in the scheme of things, but in customer service that's a ZERO for me. This is the Mesa AZ...
