If I could give no stars I WOULD. Yesterday, January 5th I called and made reservations at 11:40 am (spoke to a guy named Mike) for a party of 10 people at 5 pm. During the call he also mentioned that even though it may or may not be busy when we come in he guarantees we will have a table set up prior to coming in. So we get there at 4:30 roughly to set up and order 3 pizzas. 2 XL pepperoni & 1 XL half cheese, half sausage. I ask a girl behind the counter where our table was and she replied to me, "if you made reservations walk around and look for a table with your name. Its there". Well no table was ever set up for us even after verifying they did have it all in their book with our name. So we sat at a dirty table and asked to have it cleaned while we take kids to play, no biggie. We all begin to play games as we wait for our food to come out and 6 PM comes around and still no clean table or food has came out. I then asked for a towel to do it myself and the girl came out with attitude and soaked the entire table, whatever. Its clean. So then 630 comes and I have no patience. We have waited nearly 2 hours for 3 pizzas. I go and personally ask the cook on duty what the hold up was and have never felt more disrespected in my LIFE!!!! First, the young girl who took my order stood right behind him while I explained what we spent 83.00 dollars on and have been waiting for the last 2 hours and she didn't say anything until I called her out for taking my order. Then, he told me he had no ticket so not anything he could do until he seen a receipt that we actually paid. First of all, how on Earth do I have a buzzer THEY gave us prior to ordering food if we didnt order? He then gave us a free cold large pepperoni pizza that had been sitting under the light for God knows how long until I could find my receipt for him to make the order. Once I brought it up , they msde it and had it out within 10 minutes and not to mention the girl who brought it out dropped the pizza all over the entire table and had us pick it up. Rude horrible experience. I would not recommend this place to any one at all. We cleaned our area and asked for boxes immediately to go home and enjoy my son's 3rd birthday instead. Gave this place a chance, we usually go to the one in Mesa Riverview and I soooooooo wish...
Read moreOn 12/27/23 (I been coming here on this particular date for the last 4 years) we came to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. We come from maricopa city because we love this location. I ordered over $300 in food and games cards . My sister went and ordered more wings and the little buzzer went off so my husband went to grab those and the guy pushed two sets in front of him to take . He brings them to our table and we were puzzled because we ordered only 1 ( previously when we first got there we ordered 2) so we wanted to check our receipt to make sure we were not charged for 2 orders . As we were doing so “Lauren “ came rushing to our table very aggressively and yanked the wings off our table (pushing her way between my mom and my pregnant sister) saying we knew we only ordered one and they were not ours. Before I could speak she stormed away shaking her head and telling customers that we knew we didn’t order them. I felt embarrassed in front of my party so I approached the counter and she walked up with an attitude rolling her eyes . I asked to speak to the manager . She rudely said she was the manager . I looked at her tag it said “certified trainining “ I said no I wanted someone else because of how rude she was and she should of handled the situation way different as I come to this location for all gatherings and I spend a lot of money here . I told her there was no reason to be aggressive or accuse us of just taking the wings when her employee gave them to my husband . And that she took the wings from the table not knowing if they were touched ( we didn’t touch them we were looking at the receipt ) and to give to the other customers is against health code . She stated she was busy with other orders . I asked for phone number to a higher manager she touched her pockets and said she lost her phone she must of dropped it and looked at my table as if we took it . I looked at her and told her we do not have her phone she then found it behind the counter . She left for 10mins the rudely handed me A paper with Andy the manager on duty’s name and store number . Rolled her eyes and said walked away . I’ve never been treated this way and have been coming to this location since it opened . Y’all really need to enforce customer...
Read moreNOT RECOMMENDED VERY UNPROFESSIONAL Location: Ellsworth Rd. & Baseline Rd.- East Mesa, Az Negative Stars if I could have done so. This is a very unprofessional store and not operated like a business and has a gross manager. They close when they want, 30 mins and an hour early so employees can go party. Went in on May 27, at 8:15PM after visiting a sick family member in the hospital down the street. We called first at 7:30PM and was told in the phone by a female employee "we close at 10PM but actually close at 9:30PM", this seemed like a odd response but still plenty of time to eat. Store hours are posted on the web site and google as 11AM to 10PM. See pics. Ordered to dine in, took 30 minutes for a small order. Started to eat and "Andy" the obnoxious body odor ridden "manager" walked up at 8:50PM ( BEFORE 9PM) and said "we close at 9 so you have to leave NOW" Meanwhile the employees had 2 friends (not customers) hanging out and goofing off with an employee on duty who I assume is being paid by the hour. I protested and reminded the gross manager "Andy" that we called and where told them store closes at 10PM but 9:30 whatever that means. He rudely said "no you didn't talk to anyone here" I also reminded Andy that they posted hours on the website are 11AM to 10PM. Andy replied "so what google says 9PM", the problem is google also says they store hours are 11AM to 10PM. See the pictures below. Andy went on to say "well we put it in go-go boxes" BUT I reminded him we ordered Dine In and if he was going to close early he should have said take out only at the time we ordered. My family has patronized Peter Piper since the 1980's and spend a lot. Not bragging, we have been loyal customers, but NOT anymore. If the standard of practice if Peter Piper to close whenever its sub par employees want to leave early and toss customers while having their friends (not customers) hanging out and remaining in the store after the early closure it begs the issue just what else is...
