I've come here quite a bit, especially since I live just up the street. Every other time I had a great experience, but this last visit was bad... REALLY bad. We sat for about 7 minutes in the drive-thru without anyone saying anything. My boyfriend said "hello?" a couple of times after about 3-5 minutes. I'm patient, but not a word for that long? A man fighting with his girl might find that length of silence enjoyable, but I'm here to eat! After about 5 minutes I backed up and went forward, thinking maybe I didn't hit their sensor the first time (I definitely did). Then after 7 minutes my boyfriend honked the horn and loudly said "hello? Anyone there?". Maybe that irritated the worker, but I'm a woman in a bad mood who hasn't eaten a thing all day and it's 5pm... is hangry (angry because you're hungry) a real thing? It sure is! Ask my poor boyfriend. Took another 2 minutes to finally get someone to respond... There was someone at the window ahead of us, but no one was handing them food and the window wasn't even open - so it isn't like the person was busy talking to a customer. They could have (and should have) answered within 30 seconds of us pulling up and let us know they needed a moment. I understand people get busy, but communicate that. Let us know you know we're there and that you'll be right with us as soon as possible. Well, after that enjoyable wait, I get home and start eating... I LOVE their chicken strips but these were almost entirely breading... I was taking off 2"+ pieces that were 100% breading, absolutely no chicken inside whatsoever. Out of my 6 strips I had 3 small pieces of chicken, MUCH smaller than the usual pieces they give, that were 50% breading. They were so small and so much of it was breading that I got about 15-25% of what I'd usually get from a chicken strip. I'm talking like the size of my index finger was chicken... and I'm a pretty small girl. The 3 larger pieces weren't any better. Sure, I got more chicken, but not by much. Again, I was taking off chunks that were 2" or bigger of pure breading. The picture is from just 3 of the 6 pieces of chicken AND was taken after I gave about 5 medium to large pieces of breading to my dog... at least my dog was happy. But then again, sniffing another dog's butt makes him happy, so I wouldn't say that's much to go off of. Horrible experience all around. I don't think I'll be going here again. I drive all over the valley for work, so I'd much rather just stop at another location on my way home than risk this unpleasant experience...
Read moreDone with Pirates! 3 times in 3 months on Saturday between 8-9:40 pm. Same order of 2 burritos and an onion ring. First time 8pm burnt burritos and onion rings. Second time 9:40pm they were out of onion rings and burritos, which I was told by some one who worked there they never run out of burritos or maybe it was the onion rings, I don't rember which one. Third time 9:10 pm I waited for 14 min. for food (I was the only customer there) and watched through the drive through window as they checked the oil or food temperature at least 6 times while my food was frying. Onion rings were burnt bad and cold as ice. How does that happen? All 3 times it looks like young people working who do not care about anything, counting the seconds to closing time. 2 of them not wearing masks and 2 of them put on their masks when I pulled up but were constantly touching them. Honestly I could care less about masks except for I think it is worse to keep touching the front of them then handle food or food related objects. My stomach is turning as I am thinking and writing this. My opinion on two of my experiences there is the fryer was turned off hoping nobody else would show up. Full disclosure: I have eaten there 3 times in the last year about noon time and it was fine, Just don't...
