Sweet Simon | Vegan & Gluten Free Bakery (Located inside BAK&JO) — Restaurant in Mesa

I found this vegan gem by chance as I was just in the neighborhood and I was completely impressed with the vegan blueberry muffins. I was lucky that they just came out of the oven soft and fresh and very delicious. It was so good that I was sitting in my car and gobbled down 2 of them , then I went back in and bought some more! The blueberry muffin was also perfect the next day on the counter. I was going to microwave it but found it to be perfectly soft and fresh that I decided against it and it was as tasty as the day before! I found the strawberry cake to also be great and was beautiful but the frosting was a bit too sweet for my taste. I hope that he sells the chocolate chunk cookies without the frosting inside because the cookies were fantastic but the frosting cream inside was too sweet for my taste. But if you have a sweet tooth, you will love them. The blueberry muffins are perfect with the right amount of sweetness for me. My husband is going to the bakery today to get more for us! I’ve wanted to live a gluten free lifestyle for quite some time. Because I have a sweet tooth, I have been so frustrated trying to find food that is both tasty and not dry. Usually things are dry or not sweetened right? I was about to give up.

OUR NEW FAVORITE BAKERY!! The staff here is extremely courteous, sweet, thoughtful and incredible to work with. I needed some allergen free cupcakes for my son's birthday and they came through so nicely. ♥️♥️♥️ The cupcakes are beautiful AND delicious!! We love their boba lemonades, cupcakes and service! I would highly recommend checking out this place. Outside of the tasty treats they offer, the environment of the cafe is immaculate. It's clean, serene and comfortable.
