Honestly not sure what to think of this place. Because of a road closure we weren't able to make it to a jamba juice, after searching smoothies on Google we found this place. As a first time customer I'm not too sure how I feel about this place. According to the employee working, the menu is very outdated. Today I ordered a Leapin' lizard off the weight loss section of the menu, it contains "strawberries, peach and a fat burner blast" when I asked if they have any other add ins, he listed a few as well as the the "fat burner blast" "wait, isn't that already in the drink?" I asked. He replied "my manager told me we aren't supposed to add it, if you want it I have to charge you extra!" What?! So the listed ingredients aren't even in the smoothie? It made no sense. They also have a glass case with food items and local honey (at least the employee said it was local.) But it isn't priced and its not on the menu. When I asked the price, he wasn't sure and had to look it up on the computer. (I'm assuming they don't sell much of it if he doesn't know a price?) As far as the smoothies, they were lacking flavor, and not enough ice or frozen fruit because he handed then to me and they already seemed melted. I feel like this place has so much potential. The smoothies need to be thicker, the menu needs an update, and items need prices. Employees need more knowledge about what they are selling; fix these things and you may get more business. Read moreI purchased 2 sets of Groupons, each set consisting of 2 separate $10 vouchers. The first time I tried to use one, they couldn't take it because they had a new system that they didn't know how to run a Groupon through. The second time I went, they took it but could only access 1 of the 2 vouchers so they had to use 1 from the 2nd group too. I was told that they are having a lot of issues with their Groupons and that it may take a little while for the remaining vouchers to become available. That never happened so when I returned I let the employee know and he said that he knows nothing about the Groupons and that he couldn't help me. He said he was new and that there was nobody else there. Well, I called today to speak to a manager and was told that one wasn't there and was asked if I'd like to leave a message, so I did. I then asked for the manager's name and was told that the manager may not want her name disclosed. What!? Since when can't you tell somebody who your manager is? I thought the purpose of Groupon was to promote your business. This place has not only not promoted their business, they have hurt it because it's not just me they lost as a potential customer. I decided to take time on my lunch today and spend my gas to grab a quick smoothie, and I only had a $50.00 bill with me. The young worker told me they don't take $50, and as a consistent paying customer over the last couple months i expected better customer service. I usually pay with my debit card, but I didn't have it today. I was coming to grab two smoothies for me and my sister, and I and was told, rudely, by the manager that I could have a free soda instead. Gee thanks (i dont drink soda for over 15 years, was a major slap in the face, and to also be offered a soda at a SMOOTHIE shop too). The manager said they never take $50.00 bills and asked was there anything else she could do for me...The manager's attitude alone confirmed that I will never come back to this location and give it my money simply off principle because of her bad attitude and bad customer service.
