This place just isn't what it used to be, according to everyone in my party. They used to use amazing bread on their burgers and such, now it's just a generic cheap bun. Me and my friend got their weekly special of a double cheeseburger with bacon on an eggo waffle. It sounded amazing, but was the single greasiest burger I've ever had in my life. Like the eggo waffles used as buns seemed to have been soaked in grease before being used on the burger. My brother had their Reuben sandwich and said it was pretty meh. And they forgot an order of fries that we got, we had to go back and ask for it. And after all this, each sandwich is still like $15 without a side. Waaaay too expensive for what we got.
All of us had amazing experiences at this place before, and maybe they're cutting major costs now or something, cuz it's showing. Really not excited about this place anymore :/
Edit: the manager did reach out to me after this review and said they lost their previous bakery and were in search of a new one to make the same bread they were so well known for, hence the interim sandwich buns. And the eggo burger was an experiment, and they used honey butter on the waffles. They also offered a refund for my meal, which I declined because I did actually eat it and that's not fair to refund food I did actually eat. Anyway I appreciated the reply and raised my review to 3 stars, and I will definitely try Worth again next time I come...
Read moreIncredible little sandwich shop on Main Street. The food is made with quality ingredients and you can fit most tastes from lighter fare to a heartier sandwich. Vegetarian options too! What really stood out though was the service. This is a popular spot and we went right 12:30 on a Saturday. Despite being busy, they attended to the line quickly, delivered out food in a reasonable amount of time, and we had multiple checkins from staff to make sure we had everything we needed. I was very impressed they were able to do this so well with such a volume of customers that came through.
It’s on Main Street, so paid parking is available. There is a lot in back as well but during a busy time it might fill up. Indoor seating for about 25 people is available and they have a sizable outdoor patio.
For food I for the Turkey club but bowl style with all the ingredients over greens and with roasted sweet potato. I appreciated they had this option at no extra cost as I wanted something lighter. Also while they had the sandwich spread on the side they lightly dressed the greens which was a nice touch so every bite was flavorful. My husband got the spicy pork with fries which was very good as well. Lastly - do not sleep on their banana pudding, it was so so good.
This is one of our favorite places in Mesa so far. If you’re in town and want a quick bite, I would definitely...
Read moreWe used to love this place but felt we needed to update our review after our most recent visit.
Sadly this place has gone downhill since pre pandemic, both food quality and service.
Compared to pre pandemic the food we received was much less flavorful than it used to be. I think they've changed their fried chicken recipe because it used to be amazing, all the chicken sandwiches served to our group were subpar as were the burnt chips and soggy wilted salads.
Maybe more disappointing, the staff used to be very kind and attentive but they were hostile to our group at our most recent visit. Considering we're all incredibly polite and friendly, I'm led to believe it was because we were the only people wearing masks, including staff.
This company has a "hate isn't allowed here" sign in the front door, yet we were treated poorly because we respect public health and safety. It's the first time I've felt unsafe/unwelcome wearing a mask in a business and was very disappointed and put off.
The cleanliness was also awful. The entire time we were in the restaurant the staff did not sanitize any of the tables between guests, they also handed out shared numbers and menus to guests that were not cleaned between uses.
For a restaurant, this cleanliness would have been unacceptable prior to the pandemic but is beyond unacceptable considering the...
