Pura Vida is truly one of the best parts of my Arizona story. I stumbled upon this shop over a year ago when I first moved to AZ, and I can confidently say it’s the best coffee I’ve ever had. I’ve always dreamed of being able to walk into a coffee shop and order ā€œthe usualā€ — and I finally got to live that here. My go-to is the iced dirty chai and it is absolutely phenomenal!!!

The owners are incredible...so kind, personable, friendly, and genuine. I honestly consider them friends at this point. Their warmth and hospitality are a big part of what makes this place so special.

Even though I’m moving to Scottsdale soon for a new job, I’ll 100% still be making the drive to Pura Vida. It’s that good. If you’re looking for amazing coffee, community, and people who truly care, this is...

āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø ā€œPura Vida Grinds in Mesa is absolutely a gem — from the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and relaxed. Their Costa Rican flair shows through in every detail — the art, the mugs, even the vibe. The Lobo is a must-try: rich espresso, smooth caramel, and chocolate blending perfectly. The staff (especially Angie and Lobo) greeted me by name and were genuinely excited to recommend their favorites. I also grabbed one of their pastries — fresh, flaky, and paired beautifully with my latte. Inside seating is cozy yet airy, and the outdoor tables let you soak in Mesa’s quieter side. Whether you’re meeting a friend or catching up on work, this place delivers on atmosphere and flavor. Highly recommend to anyone looking for more than just ā€œanother coffee shopā€ — this is an...

I really have hard time finding a great coffee shop nowadays because whenever I go, I complain that they don’t make my coffee the way I want. Then by chance we found this coffee shop and let me tell you the atmosphere was so cozy, the service was very friendly and the coffee was GREAT!! The atmosphere and service was that great to the point we didn’t realize that they were going to close at 2pm and at 2:30 we decided to leave then realized they close at 2. We apologized the owner and she was so cool about it. Imagine she didn’t even come earlier to tell us to leave which was very kind. Will def go back here....

Hidden gem! Costa Rican inspired coffee shop. Had it not been for a receptionist making a DoorDash order I never would have found this place. On the outside, the signage is very simple, ā€œCoffee.ā€ The inside, however tells a different story. I ordered a hot 16 oz oat milk pumpkin spice latte that cost $6. It was exactly what I wanted. There have two small tables outside to sit at and a table inside should you choose to stay and drink your coffee. I love to support local and small businesses. Stop by and give them a try.

I had the Lobo and my husband had the dirty chia. Our two kids also had drinks, the Miami vice Italian soda, and a small Lobo. All the drinks were so good! They had depth with a velvty finish. It was nice hearing the owners story how the Lobo was his favorite drink so he named it after him. I love small businesses that come with a story and is filled with passion. I have a good caffine buzz and I definitely will be back. They had mentioned their pumpkin spice seasonal drink and I can't wait to try that one.
