Sam's Famous Subs — Restaurant in Mesa

Been coming here for months now.

I stop by like once a month and get the club sub every time.

Guy has tons of toppings to choose from, has different dressings and mustards and all of it is so good!

Sam literally makes the subs and cuts the meat fresh in front of you for your sandwich.

This place is a gem if you haven't been here before.

Place is definitely out to date and older but it is only him who works there and it's inside of a gas station so he only has so much he can work with.

Wish the meats heated up, were not done by using a microwave as well but that's about it.

Well... I came here thinking why are we going here but my brother said it was the best subs. He even brought his own meat for Sam to cut up. At this point I was confused if it’s so good why bring your own meat but I watched in silence. Turns out Sam knows how to make a great sub even if your brother brings his own meat. Sam is really great and remembers his customers previous orders if they want it again. Sam works hard to please his customers and makes this gas station location stop feel like it could be...

Sam, the man himself, made me a delicious spicy Italian sub on fresh Parmesan crusted bread. He let me know he's been in business for 22 years and swears by his subs! Cash only, but there's cash-back available at the register down the aisle at the gas station.
