Wow, what a week!!! Here for nationals in baseball. It's Friday night and a few of us decided to unwind, drink beer and sing karaoke...though there were other choices, September's is where we decided to go. We had family in from California, Yuma, and Colorado. The female bartender at September's was amazing and worked the entire bar. The male bartender did ok...till we ordered food . We shared a table with a regular who ordered food...we literally ordered food 2 minutes later and were told it was too late...this was about 1:15 a.m. The Stranger at our table felt sorry that we couldn't order food but he knew he could as a regular so he shared his food with us which we thought was pretty awesome. The fact that we sat for over an hour WASN'T a problem, as we ordered drinks and waited for what we thought would be our turn. . It was THE WAITING for an HOUR while the karaoke host IGNORED us and allowed his friends to sing TWICE while SKIPPING us. This is my PROFESSION I've been a DJ/KJ since 1991.with this experience, I was majorly disappointed as our names sat at the bottom of the barrel while others sang repeatedly. It was clear to see, as the host continuously walked away from his station, the list of names in the rotation. The host was sure to comment that he was only working until 1:00 but he had a tip jar up by the sign up sheet, that we could put money in. We watched 3 to 4 people put money in his jar and others ask for turns they shouldn't have had before singers that were already waiting in the rotation . Though I have a tip jar when I am working, you will never hear me, nor most of the hosts in our city tell you that their tip jar is there and ASK for money. I personally thought that was classless. My son who has Down Syndrome, waited with a smile on his face right next to the KJ table hoping for a turn that would never come. I was ready to let my turn go just so he could sing... but much to our dismay NEITHER ONE OF US ever got called before our exit. The Host watched as we left our table and paid our tab (which took a long time) and walked out the door. We stood outside for a few minutes and danced to the salsa song we could still hear as we walked out. Then we listened... the host began to say my name then he said GOING ONCE ONCE, TWICE...GONE this was about 1:35 a.m. and then he continued to call for others. I understand you have friends and regulars but your Out of Towners could be moving into the very City you're neglecting them in. He had a GREAT personality and everyone seemed to love him, but WE,on the other hand, decided to just give an HONEST and FAIR REVIEW. You can't possibly get a FOUR or FIVE star rating when you NEGLECT the patrons that support the very bar you are working in. Three stars is beyond Fair.. but is it really? I am a very reasonable person and as I reason over this situation and ask myself and others if you neglect your customers/ patrons /singers, do you deserve ANY stars?Just because one bartender chose to treat everyone as if they were the only customer...no one else did. Just because there are a lot of people there doesn't make it a good bar. It's a combination of the customers/bartenders and the contracters ( KJ's) working togetherfor the overallgood of the establishment. We're heading back home tomorrow but I can assure you Upon Our return, SEPTEMBER'S will not be on our radar. Tomorrow it'll be business as usual and you won't even notice we're gone. You won't miss us and I can promise you we won't miss you either but I will say, to the female bartender working the Friday night shift, you were exceptional!!!

Read moreYou have until Monday to refund my money or I will contact the Attorney General and explain how you stole my money and show them your text messages admitting to it. The five star reviews are all fake this place is absolutely disgusting and they 100% will steal your money. They Flat out change the tip amount on the receipt and steal your money.
Bartender charged me for someone elseâs drinks while in the bar, and tipped themselves $200 dollars (on what should have been a $60 tab) I reached out to the bar owner Ronetta and she admitted her staff members Shaunna and barback that night wrongfully tipped themselves more money.
I didnât even ask for a refund of the drinks I was wrong fully charged (in total was an additional $140) and only asked for the tip amount that was purposefully changed by her staff.
Ronetta asked me to file a claim with my bank so she can refund my money. I filed the claim and waited 45 days, at the 45 day mark Ronetta rejected the claim from my bank. When I reached out to Ronetta she said she would refund my money in person in her bar and even set a date. The morning of, Ronetta sent me a text and said her system was not working properly and she would update me when it would work again. Itâs been over a week since and she has completely ignored my text messages.
Stay far, far away from this establishment, the one star reviews are absolutely true, the bartender 100% over charges the drinks and 100% tips themselves more money when they can.
All of this conversation was sent through text and I am happy to post on here if I have to.
Update: Iâm sure âironicallyâ responding to my text after ignoring me for over a week had nothing to do with the review I left. The lack of professionalism in your texts and response publicly speaks volumes, since day one I was treated as if this was my fault yet this entire situation could have been avoided had your staff not overcharged me and tipped themselves $200.
You can try to defame my character by stating my claims are not true but clearly they are.
When a business wrongfully charges a customer the customer shouldnât have to wait 4.5 months for a refund, the refund should be handled immediately, from a business owner standpoint that should be one of, if not the highest priority OF YOUR DAY not week, month or year.
At this point Iâve been extremely patient with you and Septembers bar, I will continue to share my experience until refund is processed. It is up to you to decide how much of an âemergencyâ it is to refund my wrongfully charged card.
Your staffs incompetence and your inability to train properly should not fall on your customers and all future customers should know what theyâre getting...
Read moreHi! So my friend and I were researching bars to go to and I read about this one, how the bar food was really good, how the service was great, and how the atmosphere was welcomingâŚ..
Now, you can you already tell where Iâm going from here, when we entered the bar last night, we received nothing short of glares and stares. We both could feel tension but we ignored it and continued forth to the bar, we sat down and as soon as we did, an older woman and her husband cane and she snapped at me drunkenly, âOh you stole our seats!â We brushed it off since she walked away afterwards. We order our drinks with the waitress who was personable, and very nice to us. She then gave us menus to look at food, as weâre looking at the food an older woman who was a regular from what I gathered, sat down next to me and was looking at me weird.
We ordered our food I ordered a pizza and fries, my friend ordered fries. At this point the woman sitting next to me, we shall name her Linda, Linda was now talking shit about my friend and I to the group at the bar, apparently they were friends with the couple earlier. Iâm not going to go into details but my friend and I are the types where weâd rather you say it to us directly.
Anyways when the food arrived the fries were at least cooked which was good it just felt something I would get at a movie theater, and the pizza was a little overcooked and very flat, but it was cheap so maybe thatâs why itâs cheap? Moving on, I didnât really eat the pizza but ate the fries since I need something in my stomach. Linda at the point kept elbowing me âaccidentallyâ I say it like that because she looked behind her both times she did it. I have no idea how we ended up with such an uncomfortable experience but needless to say I wonât make the same mistake twice. Service was great though! But atmosphere not really and the food? Well Iâm guessing itâs tasty to anyone whoâs drunk I wasnât looking for five star but I was hoping my experience would be just as grand as...
