This place is a gem inside of another gem of a market I had never been before! I went with another friend of mine who appreciates the cultural side of food (who also frequents other ramen places around the valley). We went around 5 on a Thursday and we were able to sit down right away. Our server was so outgoing - answered every question we had and made sure to check up on us frequently throughout our meal.
I ordered the tonkotsu ramen because Iām not a fan of anything spicy. My friend got the Angus beef sizzling plate (he pointed to the picture on the menu and said āIāll get thatā). Our food came out quickly and we didnāt know they had those cute robots that serve your food! We were surprised and pleasantly so š it added to the presentation that the sizzling plates come out literally SIZZLING HOT. Itās like a plate of fajitas on a tray on the robot when your plate comes out. The robot has a digital face and even speaks lol. It was a wicked experience all around!
My ramen was quite delicious. There were so many ingredients that melded perfectly together. The noodles were cooked just right and the broth was very flavorful. The meat had a nice flavor as well! It left me full and satisfied. I tried some of my friendās dish and it certainly is a great value for how much food you get! His miso soup was just right too. I just wished I had asked for the ramen noodles to be thick since Iām used to eating udon and those noodles are super thick.
Excellent service...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI came to the plaza last week and one of my friends talked about wanting to coms when it opened. I've been to a place similar, aka Pepper Lunch in Thailand, and was excited to try it out. Today, I just happened to be in the area with family, walked inside and it was open! The first things we got were the Spicy Garlic Edamame and Fried Dumplings (basically gyoza). Our meals also came with Miso soup. The Spicy Garlic Edamame was a solid 9.5/10. The sauce was sweet and with a good bit of garlic, not spicy though, just a good warm feeling in yoru throat. Could use a bit of salt. Then the Gyoza, a 10/10. Perfectly sweet and salty. Nice crispy bottom layer. Nice soft filling. Afterwards, the Miso soup. It was sweet, not salty like the typical kind but still enjoyable. 10/10. Finally, the main star of the meal : The Angus Beef Sizzling Plate - I got mine with Udon instead of Rice. Even better than 10, it was one of the tastiest things I've ever had. I'd choose this over Curry, my favorite food. Edamame paired with crispy red onion and corn, the pefectly sweet sauce on the noodles and the soft meat. Its so amazing that it's hard to find words to describe this masterpiece. I'd recommend this to everyone and anyone. Most certainly will be coming back with am empty stomach and alot of friends! Along with that, they had this adorable cat robot server that brought out some of the foods we ordered and it was so cute. It was a great experience, well...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe were intrigued by the buzz on social media and decided to give this new restaurant a try. Our order included the Angus sizzling plate with rice, waygu with udon, and ramen. Personally, I found that the udon paired exceptionally well with the sizzling plate, making it a preferable choice. As for the ramen, it was decent but fell short of meeting the expectations of those accustomed to authentic ramen flavors.
Undoubtedly, the sizzling plate stood out as their signature dish, delivering a satisfying and flavorful experience. The service at the restaurant was exceptional, with the staff being incredibly friendly and attentive. If you plan to visit with a large group, I highly recommend making a reservation in advance to avoid any inconvenience. Although our orders were mixed up, it was understandable considering the restaurant had recently opened. It appears that they are still refining their online ordering system and working out the kinks.
Apart from the minor hiccups, my overall experience was pleasant. I'm open to giving this restaurant another chance in the future to see how...
