7/31/2021 UPDATE: The employees were quick and professional. The food was good. My complaints/issues are the continual rising prices, and declining portion sizes. It may only be $.10 per burger etc., but with the prices going up, why are the portion sizes going down? Pre-covid we used to eat in the restaurant, and two people could share one shake ($5.99-extremely outrageous pricing for the price it costs to produce compared to what the consumer gets). When I received our "to go" order yesterday I was very disappointed at the size of the shakes. They were the same size as a McDonald's small. They can no longer be shared by two people. We also ordered a large Smash-fry. Again the portion size drastically reduced from eating in, to ordering it to go. The portion size of the fries can no longer be shared. Due to the increasing prices and decreasing portion sizes my family can no longer afford to eat at Smash Burger! For the price of approximately $15+ per person for a Burger Combo, we can go to a non-fast food restaurant like Texas Roadhouse or Outback and get a meal and have leftovers.
Smash Burger should be ashamed of their greediness. If I could give zero stars I would based upon prices and portion sizes.
Once again, the food we received tasted great. My review is based upon disappointment because Smash Burger has priced themselves out of our budget.
December 2019 (I think) PREVIOUS REVIEW We ordered 8 meals and 5 milkshakes. It took over 45 minutes to get our milkshakes. We had finished our meal and were ready to leave before 2 milkshakes came out. We waited about another 15 minutes before asking about the other milkshakes. When we finally got them, they were in "to go" cups (probably because we had been there for an hour by then). The burgers and fries were very tasty, and the milkshakes were delicious, but not worth the hassle, especially with kids and teens that...

The low rating is because of this location. I waited 20 minutes for a single burger, fries and drink. Only one person was running the front, taking orders and handing them out. This wasn't the guy's fault, this is clearly an issue with management. I went in at 5pm, so lunch rush time and it was clear he was slammed.
The management should also do a lot better in telling the people in the kitchen that we can see them. I watched a crew person take fries out of a french fry box for an order and eat them. Stared at him the entire time and when he noticed he ran off away from the grill. I've worked fast food, I get that you can get hungry but maybe sneak a few fries where the customers can't watch? The fact it was so blatant with others around who clearly saw what he did as well means this isn't a one time thing.
This location is also really bad about restocking their drink station. I've come a few times, over a year period, and their drink fountains are always out. They make noises when the box of syrup is empty, it shouldn't be hard to miss. The person on the front at least made sure to fix the issue this time so that's where the extra star comes from. With better management this place could run well but it's clear they were...
Read moreTLDR: Good food. Fast service. Friendly employees. Prices are obviously higher than fast food burgers and fries, but I'd definitely go again.
I got a build-your own. Went with a "normal" sized beef patty, chipotle bun, swiss cheese, egg, bacon, and mayonnaise with a side of "Smash fries". Burger was well done (they smash them pretty thin, so don't expect to get a "medium" burger there if that's what you like), bacon was nice and crispy, they didn't overdue the mayo, and the chipotle bun added more spicy flavor than I expected. Overall very good. Their fries are thin, but not shoestring cut and they had some decent flavor to them (didn't really need ketchup), but I have had better "truffle style" fries elsewhere. I think steak-cut fries would go better with their burgers.
Cashier was very friendly and helpful, as was the guy who dropped off my food from the kitchen (possibly the same one who made it?). He repeated the order when he dropped it off and even asked if everything looked okay and if I needed anything else instead of just dropping it off and disappearing.
I think I'd get the same burger next time, but maybe with the bigger patty (wasn't hungry enough for it today). As for the fries, I think I'd check out their other sides first and fall back on the Smash fries if nothing else...
