This is a review for the location at Power and McDowell in Mesa around 5 pm dinner time. I went in to order for myself and parents and there was only 1 customer in the place and no one in line. I stood there for 5 minutes and the 3 associates standing right in front of me did not look up or acknowledge my presence. They must have been working on take out orders and in my opinion the customers that take the risk to come into the location with a mask should receive a courteous smile and welcome and thank for coming in and I’ll be with you in a second. Instead the 3 continued to stand there working on orders for take outs and 2 more customers came in and they still did not look up and say a word. I stood there waiting and walked back and forth the front of the counter and still not one looked up. I was barely a foot a way and they totally ignored me. At this point I said excuse me do I order here with you and the young girl looked up and was so rude and still did not say welcome or anything but she was working on another order. I was so angry at this point that I walked out and refused to give you my business. How can 3 workers who should be lucky to have a job in an industry that just laid off more people today due to covid not even give the customers coming in to the location a warm smile and hello and say I’ll be with you in a minute. How could they not even have the common sense as a human being in today’s challenging times to share a warm smile and hello and pleasant welcome. They should all be fortunate enough to have a job and appreciate and respect the customers that are taking a risk coming out in person to support your local restaurant. They should be excited to see customers coming in to the facility. Shame on all of you for your complete lack and respect to your customers. Get another job where you don’t have to greet customers. There are plenty of unemployed restaurant workers that would love to be in your shoes and have customers to greet and and serve. I have never written a review in my life until this evening. And still shocked your staff can be so unprofessional and disrespectful to customers helping to keep...
Read moreWhere to begin... ordered our food which consisted of a steak burrito burrito bowl, a chicken burrito bowl, Chips and guac and a small drink. As soon as I sat down and dipped my first chip into the guacamole and took a bite there was a problem… There was a small pit in the guacamole which I bet down very hard on my tooth and it hurt. Then I noticed that the guacamole tasted off, I’ve been eating chipotle for at least 10 years and know what the guacamole supposed to taste like, it tasted almost like it was watery or had no flavor. I went inside to complain to the young cashier working the register that the guacamole tasted funny and asked her if there was possibly another batch in the back that they could get me some out of she considers proceeded to argue with me that they make their guacamole fresh and there was no more in the back, arguing with me as if to say I didn’t think that the guacamole tasted bad. She gave me another container and I sat down to eat that and it did the same thing so I decided to go back up to the cashier to ask for my money back… This is just for the guacamole not my entire order, she was having difficulty refunding my money so she went and got the “manager “. I’m assuming she explained this so-called manager that there was an issue with the guacamole and a customer needed a refund the manager came up had a few buttons turn around and walked away I did not look me in the eye did not say anything did not apologize did not offer to give me a free burrito next time nothing, I did not catch his name because I didn’t see him long enough to get his name he was a young guy was very tight clothes on which was very weird. I will not return to this chipotle and I don’t dare to say this is the worst chipotle I’ve ever had in my life… Terrible “manager “who took no responsibility or tried to apologize and even look at me and say hello or anything, I think corporate needs to know about this!!! One star for the food being decent zero stars for the route manager and employee arguing with me about...
Read moreI hate to be the bearer of bad news but the truth is I have been to Chipotle's from Arizona to Florida and it's started off when they first opened to be like amazing and delicious. But then as time has gone on everything has slowly gone to crap. I went there on Monday veterans Day to feed my two granddaughters before they went home with their parents after a long weekend visit. First thing I noticed which is of course what I always notice at every Chipotle is how there are several workers working the prep counter is filthy and for whatever reason God only knows this has happened all over the country and it happened at this location too when a worker is putting the food into the bowl if they miss the bowl for an example lettuce. They pick it up with their dirty gloved hand and put it back into your bowl which just fell onto a dirty prep table, it happens at every location and irks me to know and because that's disgusting, that's why people are getting food poisoning. That's the reason why people complain about your food hello. So first and foremost better training needs to happen on how to correctly prep food. Food was cold and my brown rice was crunchy. So my rice was not cooked properly. And my bowl was very skimpy hardly any meat. Hardly anything else. And I paid what 12 bucks for it. And the other thing that irks me is you have several young workers in there. None of them clean the tables. None of them peruse the dining area to clean tables so people as they come in can sit down and eat their goddamn food. Now, I'm not sure if these restaurants are franchised or corporate owned, but serious training needs to happen. I've looked all over the valley at all. The Chipotles and everybody has three stars or less and the complaints are always the same and I really believe y'all need to do better. Because the truth is people love it. The food is fresh and great And has a great concept if only folks would...
