We have been waiting for them to open for a long time. Tonight we went with the goal of trying 3-4 different sauces and their fries. There was no-one ahead of us at the counter so we placed our order (10 tenders, 10 boneless and a regular Buffalo Fries) then sat down.
Although there were no orders ahead of us it took 18 minutes for our food to arrive. While we waited we enjoyed our fountain drinks. Once the food arrived we sampled a little bit of each.
I love spicy so I tried the atomic hot tenders first. They were spicy but not what I consider really hot. Next I tried the garlic parmesan tenders. They had a really nice flavor that I could binge on if not careful.
My companion really enjoyed both the teriyaki and honey BBQ sauces on the boneless wings. I stole a couple bites of each and agreed that they are both ones to try again in the future.
Since I'm the only chillihead on the family we got medium sauce on our Buffalo Fries. The flavor was good but the fries were not crispy. Since the food had not been sitting long I doubt they had simply gone soft by absorbing trapped moisture. They were not swimming in sauce so I suspect they just were not crispy to begin with. While yummy we were hoping they would be crisper.
While none of the food was crispy all our chicken was moist and tender and everything tasted good. Given a choice between being crispy but dry OR moist but not crispy we prefer the latter.
Afterwards we agreed that all of the sauces were ones we would get again. However with so many other interesting sauces to try it may be a little while before we get to them all and select a...
Read moreAlthough there were about 12 different sauces, the three flavors that I tried were so watered down they had no flavor didn't stick to the wings. It was like eating a chicken wing in a bowl of soup. The chicken itself had great taste although it was not crispy; again, watered down sauces meant I only tasted the soggy chicken.
I ordered online and was given a pick-up time. I was 5 minutes late, arrived to a completely empty restaurant and waited another 8 minutes (timed, not exaggerated). In my order, I specified All Drums. Got home and had received both drums and flats. Yes, the wings were soggy from the to-go container; but I put them in my air-fryer to re-heat and re-crisp. It smelled amazing. The wings died when they were tossed in the sauce.
If they were good, I would have returned for the value (25 wings, 3 sauces, 8 bread sticks, 4 drinks - $30). Too many negatives counting against it made this a 1 and done visit. Chicken Wings was your only job and you...
