I came here the other day literally at 6:25 and they close at 6:30 and I felt so bad. But whoever was working this shift thank you guys so much for the amazing service ! They got my drink PERFECT. I asked them to make sure my matcha is more drink than foam (because everywhere I go it’s always more foam than liquid ) and they met my needs with absolutely no doubts in their work or complaints. Usually when you request this people will say it’s hard to do that with no ice in it but this crew the evening I came did it with no problem! I also wanted to point out that I appreciate them being so kind to me especially since I came right before close. They made me feel so welcomed and I wish I got their names but it was two girls and a guy and if I remember correctly the guy had glasses. Just wanted to shout them out. Also I started coming here because the one by my house is so terrible they always ALWAYS get my drink wrong and I got so fed up with dealing with that Apache location I started to come here and they have never had a problem with making my OG drink which is a white mocha with vanilla pumps. Read moreI started to leave five stars and then the shift change happened. Before 5 pm the girl that took our order was a doll. I don’t remember her name but she had blue hair. She was adorable and polite. Then shift change happened. The other girl with the pink in her hair and the natural redhead were not so polite. I’m a gold card member and have been for five years. Never have I been charged for a refill on iced coffee or iced tea which is what I ordered today.
When I went to refill the ice tea there was no problem, but when I went to go refill my ice coffee she charged me for not only the coffee but also the white chocolate flavoring in my iced coffee stating a policy change. If it has changed that’s fine. But someone should tell every other Starbucks in Arizona about the change.
After paying for my “free” refill I waited a good 15 minutes for them to be done. They aren’t hard drinks and there was no reason for me to wait that long. When I asked her if our refills were ready I got an eye roll and a sigh while she went to grab the cups for drinks she hadn’t even started yet.

Read moreOn account of some of the good people that I've seen work here, I'm giving this a 3 star (without them, it'd be much lower). Lately, though, I've had messed up drinks and poor customer service. The last three times I've been here, I've had problems where I ordered a kid temp steamer (non-caffeinated steamed milk) and it wasn't kid temp, but hot enough to burn my toddler's mouth. I was shocked the last time this happened because I specifically mentioned the previous incidents. Despite that, the order was still messed up (I caught it and had it fixed, but still...). On a minor note, I was also charged extra for something that I was told I wouldn't be charged for because I was substituting pumps. I picked up the receipt and there was an extra cost that I was told wouldn't be there. I'm guessing this wasn't deliberate, but I went back later to ask for some whip cream in one of my drinks and it felt like I was ignored for some time while the barista was making a drink. No words of, "I'll be with you in a sec," but flat out not even...
