Taco Bell — Restaurant in Mesa

What a joke. I went in this afternoon with my coworker to get lunch. We had to go inside the restaurant to order, it wasn't busy inside and no one was at the counter. A minute or two later someone yelled that someone will be with us shortly and that we can use the kiosks. I was paying cash so I just stood at the counter waiting for someone while my coworker ordered on the kiosk. After 5+ minutes, someone finally came over and took my order. Finished ordering and had to wait 10 minutes before my coworker finally got her order. Someone walked in and they got their food so I got annoyed and asked where my food was. The person went in the back and said they are working on it now. Really I've been here 15+ minutes and they still haven't made my food. Absolutely ridiculous. Finally they got my food to me and I discovered messed up the order when I went to eat, they put sour cream on something I specifically asked for NO sour cream. Couldn't even wrap my taco so it was closed. This isn't the first time this has happened either. Any time I go into this restaurant it's terrible service and I usually get something free (recognized my the manager, I usually don't complain because I get it people can mess up) but I didn't even get any sort of compensation today. Initially used drive through. Hash browns was cold and undercooked. I went inside, greeted by a bug on the floor. I went to the counter, spoke with the manager, who just gave me my food through the drive thru, her response "The equipment that we use to keep it warm must not be working, I'll remake it ". She came back and handed me what looked like a hash brown patty refried. I worked in restaurants, I know what twice fried food looks like. No apology or anything. My first time and last time having breakfast at Taco Bell. It was also my first and last time at this location. Even the breakfast burrito seemed off. I'm amazed that a manager let's employees stand behind the counter on their cell phones but this manager seems disconnected with multiple facets of this location. Multiple coaching opportunities but quality is top down. Praying I don't get...

I admit, I feel a little silly leaving a review for a Taco Bell. But having said that, since I had such a bad experience yesterday at one and left a bad review I felt obligated to leave a good review for the one I visited today. It's starting to look like Taco Bell is my daily eating out, but that's not the case, it just so happens that the last couple days I've been in the mood for some Taco Bell! This Taco Bell delivered! I don't mean they have delivery, I mean they came through with the order correctly. Portions were right the food was fresh and everything tasted great... As great as Taco Bell can.
