First of all I'm writing this After my wife returned from going through drive thru approx 6:45 Sunday evening Nov 26. Second. We've enjoyed going to your establishment several times since we moved here in Feb due to job relocation. Third. The correct way to get in to your drive thru is suspect since traffic tries to come in from all sides. Normally everyone takes turns. We know the correct way since the restaurant explained it to us when we asked one time. However tonight must've been part of SILLY SEASON (Christmas) since my wife came in from the correct way and assuming people would take turns, did take her turn in line when the guy from the other side in a hurry to block her, ran up on the curb and blocked himself. She wasn't try to cut... However she did 'assume' taking turns (since she was in the right,) was appropriate. You need to do something or post something about traffic patterns so that people understand what is right, or at least post something that says - please be respectful and take turns. Fourth. When she tried to order, the line behind her started honking and the order taker could not hear her. He got upset and finally she said she would order at the window. So she pulled ahead to order at the window. Everyone kept honking. (very mature and grown up) Once she got to the window (of course everyone was still honking) she explained what happened and the person who tried to take her order but couldn't hear her... told her.. "You drove away, I WON'T TAKE YOUR ORDER!" Pretty sure that your manager wouldn't like you refusing business without their permission. So, she did two things. She asked for the manager, and then asked the young lady that was standing there what traffic pattern was she supposed to use. Of course, as we knew, she told her 'that it was the way she came in and everyone else was wrong. But.. that they have had problems all the time with people trying to come in from the other way.' Once the "shift supervisor" came to the window, she asked what was wrong. (mind you everyone is still honking and evidently flipping the bird and yelling) she explained what happened, asked again about correct traffic pattern, and told the supervisor about the "kid" telling her he wouldn't take her order... which at that point he said. "I didn't say that!" We did get our order. Everyone was still honking and making intelligent gestures. She tried to pay for the person behind her trying to be 'nice' but was told that they had ordered 30 items and Taco Bell didn't think we should pay for it. Here's where I come in. We won't be back if we can help it which should make everyone happy. The person that 'refused' to take her order without discussing it with the supervisor.... (I normally don't say this but) GET RID OF HIM!!! He doesn't belong in the fast food business. Maybe it was a bad night for everyone and there was duress in the restaurant or something. I / we apologize that we added to this. The next letter goes to the owner and corporate. However, IF by some chance we ever decide to come back and my wife comes home stressed out and in tears again... you will be dealing with me at the counter asking to talk to the supervisor and demanding an apology from the supervisor and the person responsible. For anyone out there that see's this review and was part of all of this, sincere apologies... However honking and gesturing and yelling?.. REALLY? Please go in and ask what the correct traffic pattern is... hopefully they will tell you what...
Read moreI am beyond frustrated with the location on Baseline and Ellsworth. Within the last month and a half I have had two issues.
The first one, I ordered two chicken power bowls for the first and asked no guacamole on one of them. We get home we open both of them. They both had guacamole. I called the store and told them that my boyfriend is severely allergic to guacamole and would like a refund. The lady got very defensive and said she didn’t purposely sabotage my food. Which I never accused her of. I have worked in food and get mistakes happened. I just asked for a refund
Tonight, I order a veggie bowl. I get home and there was no rice. I called and asked if I could bring it back and they remake it for me. They said they were out of rice as many other Taco Bell’s were too. I told him that I wish someone had told me that when I ordered it through the drive thru. I asked if I could get a refund and he said they don’t do refunds, which I don’t understand because I got one previously. I drove all the way back to the Taco Bell location and another worker told me that there was a sign on the speaker. I don’t see it which is my mistake but I also think it would be very beneficial for them to tell customers as they order.
The lady who came up to me and told me there is a sign on the speaker box shouted to her crew and said to let people know when ordering that we are out of rice since they can’t read the sign.
I definitely think that the crew should have handled this situation better. I love Taco Bell’s food but highly...
Read moreSo I'm giving this such a low reading because it's been years and years since I've been to Taco Bell. I've hear people Rave about all these things that have come on to the menu but I'm pretty old school. I went ahead and ordered a burrito supreme and got suckered into their new crunch tostada slider things this time. The sliders were absolutely disgusting there was no Crush to it the steak was really gross tasted artificial and like something was just flat out wrong with it. The burrito supreme was half the size that used to be years ago and tasted horrible as well mostly tortilla for $8 I would have expected a little bit better burrito. I'm not knocking the store the service was great the drive-thru was very quick but Taco Bell is a company is horrid. I even called to complain to their corporate letting them know that their corporate food has really gone downhill and it's disgusting they then put in a complaint against the store which had nothing to do with it. There's nothing wrong with this store but I highly suggest going the extra three quarters of a mile to Del Taco up the street you won't be sorry there they load their burritos and tacos up it's always fresh and taste great at the same price if not better plus you can get three tacos on a Tuesday for two books...
