Taco Bell — Restaurant in Mesa

Always fast service and friendly staff. Very clean. Update: I used to come in here much more but the staff is not as friendly as they used to be and the sound system / music hasn't worked in months. Today I was told they come out to fix it three times and it never works. Call the head to make sure there was still time for breakfast since the app would not let me order it even though it was a quarter till 11:00. Was told yes come on in. When I got there the cashier who didn't seem to know much about anything had to ask if we could still serve breakfast. Mind you it is 10:55 a.m. Sounded like she was told no at first but I reminded them that I called ahead and so they told yes still order breakfast so placed and paid for my order. Only to have them come back and tell me they didn't have any more eggs. At that time it was 11:01. I'm thinking if you serve breakfast till 11:00 then you should have enough eggs until 11:00....

Usually have a good experience, other then if you come there close to 10pm(when there lobby closes) they make it very know that you aren't welcomed there, and that they do not want to serve you anywhere near 10 because they just want to close the lobby despite drive through being opened up midnight. And I walked in one night, paying very little attention as what's going on inside, and when I walked in everyone just kind of looked at me like I wasn't wearing pants or something, I asked if it was private party, they said yes it's private and we're closed, almost kind of rude like. I looked after to make sure they didn't have a sign up or something saying they were saying they were closed, but no sun and the doors were unlocked, so shame on me for thinking that I could go in there during there limited hours of operation and buy food. I’m not sure what it is but almost every time we come to this location our order is wrong. We always go through the drive through and have to make sure we check our bag before we leave the parking lot. Often items are missing and we have to go inside to to get it corrected. Staff is usually kind and tries to make it up to us but it’s frustrating that it happens every time.

I believe they are understaffed at the moment since we often wait for a long time in the drive thru.

Occasionally items will be made incorrectly and often the items seem small. My husband often orders a bean burrito and it is very small compared to ones we’ve gotten at other locations. This is common for other items we order as well, like tacos have very little meat, etc.

Food tastes like Taco Bell and the location is convenient but I’m often frustrated when we get food here and I avoid this location...
