I understand that they just opened today so they were busy, but the old lady's attitude towards me is the reason I'm giving this shop only three stars. The foods were really good just like in Korea. Without any notice, I was just waiting inside of the store. When I was only one number back from getting my food, the lady told me to wait outside. Probably she didn't know that I was the next person to get my food, but I had to come back right after she told me to wait at outside. Yeah that makes sense because of the Covid, crowdy inside and everything. I understand that. She kindly asked me if I wanted any sauces or rubs. And when she was done with the sauce and everything, I was gonna grab forks so I can enjoy this food with my friends. When I was about to grab them, that old lady yelled at me in a high-toned voice like "No no no, I will grab them for you because of covid. How many do you need?". I think they could've done this better by either politely telling me not to touch the forks or having any notes on forks that they would happily serve forks by requests only like that. From that moment, I started not feeling happy. After that I looked all the inside of the store and there were 3 people who are supposed to fry the hotdogs (I guess) but two of them are watching and a supervisor (looks like) is training those two workers. Is that why the old lady had a bad attitude to me because she was so sensitive about how the store is busy with workers? Posting this photo to show you guys that I actually visited.

A friend showed me this place while I was in town for work, and I was lucky enough to get there just before the heavier part of the dinner rush. (VERY BUSY when it gets going!) Good idea to try and avoid peak busy times, wait times can get pretty bad, a bit much if you're hungry. My friend didn't recall seeing some of the offerings, and so believes the menu may rotate. I decided to try the Injeolmi dog (something new) and the Potato dog (an old favorite). The dirty fries were a last minute choice, but a good one. The use of flaming hot cheetos powder was a nice touch, combining with the dirty sauce to produce a rich flavor profile. The potato dog ended up having a similar flavor profile to the dirty fries, (so it may be something to consider if wanting to vary the flavors) but the fat from the dog and cheese gave it a more satisfying overall taste. Speaking of which, I would honestly recommend at least getting one full dog, and one with half cheese. The Injeolmi was what really surprised me though. It was flavored with bean powder and a sweet sauce. I had expected something closer to an overall sweet and salty experience, but the bean powder had more of an umami flavor. The result was surprisingly good! The one draw back was the dogs did seem to have much thicker breading toward the bottom, so the balance of meat to bread got thrown off a little. TLDR: the toppings can be very similar, so be sure to vary your choices. Great selection of flavors and quality ingredients.

So I recently learned this. In South Korea, when someone wants a hot dog, they are not talking about a weiner on a hot dog bun with mustard and relish. In South Korea, a hot dog normally refers to a corn dog. A very popular street food, the corn dogs there are unlike anything I've seen before. Though, they do look similar. Typically a Korean hot dog consists of a sausage on a stick dipped in a doughy batter. The batter is then rolled in Panko crumbs then deep fried to a golden brown. Once done, sugar and cinnamon are dusted on top, then other sauces are added. The result is a sweet and savory combination that is actually quite different and quite unexpected, but good nonetheless. Of course, that is just the beginning. You can get a corn dog with half sausage and half cheese. You can get a corn dog rolled in rice crispies and so on and so forth. So there you have it. I would definitely try a Korean style hot dog again. Yes, the lines were long at Two Hands, but it didn't feel that long. Check this place out.

Went here for the first time will never be going back. I ordered 2 potato corn dogs one mozzarella and one half and half meet and cheese I asked for no sauce whatsoever the cashier said ok gave me back my change. Change was 54 cents he gave me back 2 quarters I wasn't gonna trip on him about 4 pennies that's crazy. Finally got my order and he said he put no sauce on my all mozzarella corndog I told him no I said I wanted no sauce on both he then proceeded to try to tell me that I did not but my friend who I went with also told him that I specifically said no sauce on both he then said well I can remake it for u I said ok my friends food came out and I took all of our orders to the car while she was waiting on them to remake my corndog came back inside and they said they can't make it anymore bc I left with the food. Said forget and we were about to leave. Went to the car upset then decided to go back in and ask for my money back instead no one was in there I politely asked them for my money back since they can't remake it and he was trying to refuse me my money as well then I said well here's the corn dog back I didn't touch it still hot in the box he then said well I still can't remake it I said well I would either like a remake or my money back the girl that was supposibly the cook came behind him and pointed at the wall he said we have the right to refuse anyone service I asked why bc I didn't do or say anything wrong she came up again and she we don't need a reason but if u don't leave I'm going to call the cops I am 9 months pregnant and just wanted my order right me being black as well and in shock walked out bc clearly they was being racist and lazy and just didn't want to give me my money or remake my order bc there was no one in there but me walked out crying bc I've never been treated that way before. It would have been so simple to just remake me my order but obviously they didn't want to. I will remember this for a long time I will never eat...

Rant alert!!! let's start off with the good. And then I will mention the not so bad:

the good news is if you're a fan from California and you discovered this place then you must be a lucky human. For they Don't really advertise as much and I can totally see why for the combinations that they utilize coming from some of their cultural roots to their understanding of American culture where the hot dog has become almost forgotten period .... with that being said until they open up baseball centers and circuses...

From their current lineup I think that they have a good stronghold except it would be nice to have more features to go along with the corn dogs. but so far they're lineup is very good I really enjoy the potato version and I even enjoy taking the time to decorate it. I'm not going to post an Instagram when you come too old at any rate the all beef hot dogs I don't know if they are organic that would be a nice thing there be it'll be nice to have a vegan version per se but all in all it's a great difference to experience from any culture, that wants to divulge into the corn dog arena. With a twist! Now the not so good...main reason why I couldn't give it a five stars because the staff is very unorganized especially in the evening I don't know if it's because of the popularity contest or it's just the overall turnout of watching them operate. I mean they're not a well-oiled machine like you would find in a in and out burger franchise. I think they still have some learning to do. Overall the experiences very promising it is a delight to enjoy, and it's a great thing if you're trying to be a little bit more unique on your first date but want to remain in the traditional aspect of falling in love with food again. With someone to share of course!

The evening staff is a little bit...

I’m giving them a bad review only for their service. I ordered food online and when I got my confirmation it didn’t say what were suppose to do for pickup or anything. I had a order number but that was it. It was crazy which I understand. But I waited in line to ask what I should do because the confirmation order did not say what to do. The women in the back yelled at me it was gonna be 20 mins which I’m okay waiting for. I was just wondering what to do. But also they have me a separate number than the number I got for my confirmation number in my email and I thought that was annoying. I wasn’t being rude. I should also mention that we saw people wait in the store for their online orders. We came back 20-30 mins later and asked if it was ready and they told us it would be a min. They were just finishing up. So we waited in the store and they yelled at us to get out and to wait outside. Which I get with Covid but I watched you let OTHER PEOPLE wait in the store for their online order and it was just disrespectful and when you asked us if we wanted sauce on our food, we said yes and they rolled their eyes at us and asked ON ALL OF THEM? And we said yes and we only order 3 corn dogs. I get it. You guys are CRAZY busy. You have a lot of people waiting outside. But we weren’t being disrespectful. We were asking how to do something because your app did not give us any info on what to do let alone the correct pick up number and you get super angry and rude. The food was amazing but not worth the BS being put through...
